I used to find it funny and odd when my friend told me he likes to crossdress, until when I put on a skirt myself. The fabric brushing your thigh feels really erotic...but it gets boring quickly. I've tried on a swimsuit as well, and the way it crawls up your crotch is really arousing initially, but also dies off quick. It's fun but I feel uncomfortable too fast for it to be my thing.

If anyone's seen the movie Ed Wood, Johnny Depp's titular character says he loves women so much that crossdressing makes him feel closer to them, I totally understand that now.
