Just wish to clarify.. it is not a Man U vs Liverpool debate ah. Just discussing facts such as same referee, same situation. What's the fine difference that causes a different outcome.

Yes, we are talking about referee inconsistencies.
I am neither a MAn U or Liverpool fan.

The Man U case was more blatant and should have caught the ref's attention; strangely it did not.

Great that you understand. Not trying to use this example to take pot shots at other teams. Just discussing refereeing decisions.

I hope we are in the running to sign him. Been noticing him since he went on loan to Crystal Palace. Smart footballer. Young, English and hardworking. Our type of player.

Chelsea may have to sell him to keep in line with Financial Fairplay. Plus the big wages and long contracts of underperformed Chelsea players may be a trigger point too. He may want to leave to play for a Champions League team

Tough away game tonight.

Unfortunately, Forest's home record against us is good.

Potential banana skin.

Any Win will do + no more injuries!

Got it. I think we need to give Gakpo some rest. Looking jaded. Now let's see if Man City or Arsenal drop points this weekend

Thank goodness Nunez came through where it matters most, crucial 3 points that could define Liverpool season..

Yes, Yes, Yes & Yes:D

Get In!!

Roy of The Rovers stuff again last night!

Endo coming on allowed Mac Allister to move up and eventually do what he is best at doing, a cool world cup winner! Endo & Mac partnership is really vital for us now.

Nunez, what can I say. He made it even better scoring right after Forest fans were comparing him to Andy Carroll, that shut them up good, lol!

Kelleher was very good yet again! Think the Brazilian duo - Taffarel's GK training together with mixing with Alisson has worked wonders for him.

Gomez, got to give him a mention for his amazing versatility as he played three positions last night.

As for Cody, unfortunately think he has lost confidence and is making poor decisions. Klopp probably should have brought on Danns earlier.

Oh yeah, Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas, the fat Greek owner of Forest, Mark Clattenburg & PGMOL can kiss my ass:rolleyes::p

Referee Paul Tierney made numerous wrong decisions for BOTH teams last night. As for the one they were moaning, groaning, whining and bitching about, the exact same thing happened to Liverpool earlier in the match. It all evens out in the end.

Moreover it is noteworthy that lots of people, both players and pundits like Steve McManaman and Tim Sherwood initially had no idea why the Forest bench and Chairman were so worked up at the end.

Anyways all that matters now at this stage of the game is them precious golden three points!

11 more 'EPL Cup Finals' to go!

Monster, his goal is so stunning that even the usually calm VVD behaved out of sorts. VVD was tussling with another player to try to head the cross from which Nunez scored. After Nunez scored, VVD went into the goal to pick up the ball. I think he did an origi (that last min goal against everton). VVD may have forgotten it's a winning goal and not an equalising goal. :p VVD then went over to take a fan's phone to record the goal celebrations before returning the phone to the fan. Amazing footage.

I hope to see Jayden Danns start ahead of Gakpo. He has been a handful. In the limited minutes that he played, Forest may have conceded 2 penalties. On both occasions, the player marking Danns just hug him to the ground without looking at the ball. Both occasions were about defending corners for them. At 1.83m tall, he is a handful for the defending left back or right back. Opposing centrebacks are normally focused on VVD, Nunez, Konate/Quansall. The rest of our team is quite short

Yes I hope the young lad is given a run of games, from the games against Chelsea and Nott. Forest, can see he is quite a handful.

As for Nunez goal and the controversial over the drop ball, it has explained that decision is right as in drop ball situation as long as ball is in penalty box when play stop, advantage is returned back to team defending the box not the team last possessing the ball ie the opposing team...

Relying on other teams to help us has never worked out for us in the past.

Can't expect favours. We've got to do it ourselves.

I'm not sure why it would be any different this time. It's in our hands and we have to make sure it stays that way.

Nunez's goal was absolutely huge.

We have to keep our lead no matter how many games we have to win.

Oh yeah gotta add Nuno Espirito Santo to, he can kiss my ass list:rolleyes::D

mid week match away to Sparta Prague, not sure Klopp wanted to field strongest team or let the academy players played some part.

Sunday clash with MC will be a big one. Not sure Klopp will reserve Salah for this big match.

I think those key players will be rested. They will travel with the squad but will not start. If our kids are good enough to overcome Southampton, they will give Sparta Prague a good run. Giving Salah, Szobolaiz and Nunez 15 minutes at the end may be good for their momentum and match fitness.

If Salah plays, he will likely join the Egypt squad for some money making friendly matches soon

No disrespect to Sparta or the EL but the EPL is our main priority.

Whatever team Klopp puts out against Sparta, this must not be at the expense of the Big One at Anfield on Sunday. We need to win this to return to the top of the table and keep the momentum going, particularly since Arsenal would probably go top of the table on Saturday as they shall probably beat Brentford @ Emirates.

To put things into perspective, I truly wish we went out earlier in the FA Cup @ Emirates and collected three precious golden points @ Emirates instead.
