Shaving/removing pubic hair

Anyone got experience getting this done outside? Any recommendations?

Also can enlighten me about the options, like shaving, waxing etc.

I know some HC/MP got this service, but I reckon the quality not sure one. So far, the only proper option I know is STRIP at the malls one. But this probably quite costly, or is that the best choice for this?

Sorry if wrong place to ask this.

once u do it, do it regularly, cannot stop. like once every several days, depends on the growth of the hair.

Agreed, once do it, needs to be done regularly otherwise the hair will be short and sharp.

I don’t suggest you do it by shaving personally
It is uncomfortable when the hair starts to grow again.
Poking and irritating.
If professional waxing and total removal is affordable by you and you are comfortable, can go for it

I do it frequently by trimming , just like hair cut…. :)
Short enough to make it less messy…

Bros who trim, what length trimmer guard you find best to avoid itch but keep tidy?

Re: Shaving/removing pubic hair

I find that the Philips Bodygroom or Multigroom series work really well for shaving pubic regions. Both male and female. They have a series of different guards for trim all the way down to bare. And very little risk of nicking the skin which hurts like f!@#.

Bought mine years ago from overseas. Rechargeable battery and so far so good. Good quality. Just looked on lazada and looks like newer models now available for around $50-70. Sample link (https://www.lazada.sg/products/phili...263146029.html)

Personal feedback I have received from MLs/FLs is that neat trim or completely bare makes it much easier to do a BJ. So anything for a little better service right? Just saying ...

Been shaving on my own for a few years already. Shaved every alternate day unless I want to find FL or ML the next day.
It was itchy when the hair started to grow after the 1st few shaves, but subsequently the itch dies off.

Re: Shaving/removing pubic hair

my personal preference is to do waxing + IPL to remove and stunt growth. like the smooth smooth feeling after that and i feel its nicer for the one blowing you.

if on a budget at least just do the regular waxing by a professional. Never go for a hanky panky type, unless you wan to risk severe discomfort/complications. have heard horror stories of people who go hanky panky shops for waxing then end up go to the legit professional shops for severe in-grown problems. some hanky panky shops may use the wrong type of wax, which still get the job done, just less clean and more pain.

Re: Shaving/removing pubic hair

I wouldn't shave it any more. When the hair grows out, the perineum becomes very itchy.

Re: Shaving/removing pubic hair

i've tried waxing long time ago, kinda painful when the wax is ripped off together with the hair follicles which isnt a good feeling and needs upkeep cause the hair will continue to grow.

when with IPL from mainstream shops like JapanIPL located across SG but realised its a con job cause they always make you pay for shots of IPL regardless you need it or not and in the long term its not cheap. now settled with my current IPL provider located in the neighbourhood (central area). rates are affordable starting from $80 and now just do maintenance (ie. every 6-8 weeks go for IPL for maintenance.

good thing with IPL is that i did not experience the hair stubbles or ingrown hair much even after the hair has regrown because its very fine and will hardly cause any discomfort, so i do recommend this as an option instead of DIY.

anyone wants my contact just drop me a PM :D
