1. it isnt the end of the world so dont overstress yourself because u have the virus.
2. get medicine to help heal your sores faster
3. know the ways to prevent outbreaks
4. reduce the chance of spreading the virus to your partner by
- avoid kissing if you have a cold sore.
- use condoms and dental dams for all kind of sex
- avoid sex activities during outbreak, pre outbreak and shedding period.

5. as i have said, it is pretty common to have the herpes virus, so let your partner know you have the virus and work together to prevent the spreading.

Correct me if I am wrong but mouth sores herpes are not considered as STD like genital herpes which you can only get from sexual activities..

Can correct me if Im wrong too.
As long as contact with infected area, the virus could transmit.
Eg:
M1(hsv2 + with sores) gets sucked off by F.
F gets infected and with sores in mouth go DFK M2.
M2 could get HSV2 too, no?

We read so much about herpes 1 n 2.
Can anyone share about treatments. I understand DSC uses Nitrogen Freezing instead of medications, any brother can share about its effectiveness or experiences.

DSC Dr said no medication n Nitrogen freezing is the best treatment

As far as I know from my friend's experience, he said that after treatment sometimes it will appear again

as of now, there is no cure for the herpes virus, it will stay with u for life....there are however ways to prevent and minimise the breakout.

Based on what my ex experienced, the doctor said we can only do treatment and treat it so it goes away, but it can't be cured. so it can grow again maybe not in the exact same place

unless u are young, handsome and rich and dont mind getting shag by a 68 years old 180 pound lady, we are not going to have sex.:D

the best advice i ahve for you is to pop some antivirual medications and wait at least 1-3 weeks after the scabs is gone before engaging in sexual activities... the timeline will depends on various factors. Go read up this thread.
