Ridiculous and sad though it may sound, there are still these "carrots" around. If every patron of a KTV is as savvy and street smart as fellow brothers here, then I suspect most, if not all the WLs will starve to death, not to mention no one paying to repair the leaking roof back home.
At the end of the day, I guess it is to each his own. Some know they are being treated as carrots and being chopped up, yet they are willing to make the sacrifice. Why, I really don't know. Of course, ridiculous though it may sound, there are still the "innocent" and "naive" rich customers who can't even remember their own names when a SYT from China cuddle up to them and whisper sweet nothings in their ears.
