IMHO, it is

normally better. Many WLs aware of
SBF - scared of
negative publicity. No news is good news !! Never ask: "Are you xxxx". Some will get worried (maybe because of SBF). Call name confidently or do not at all. Always say "friend recommend". "Who ?" Just say, "You will not know him (
do not know what name he uses in Petain).
May is actually friendly/chatty (
Mandarin). Service is one of the better ones - unfortunately thinks kissing is dirty. Just confidently walk in and pay her $50 or move on to another WL like Cookie, Pat, Joey, Kidd, Michelle (
2x) , Joyce, Lily etc.
