So... we carry on without a condom... but I didn’t cum inside her (last minute pull-out) and now I’m a bit worried that I had made a wrong decision. Should I trust her that she’s clean? Need help from professionals here...

The activity that will put you at risk is only unprotected sex with the girl.
Ok let's be honest and talk about the chances of you being infected with HIV. From what you describe, the chances of being infected from HIV is less than 1% from this one encounter. Here is why:
You never describe whether you do it vaginal or anal sex. But I assumed it is a vaginal sex.
1) As a insertive partner (topped) you carry less chances of being infected with HIV.
It's important to remember that HIV is not an easy virus to transmit or receive. In order to acquire it one's blood, semen, or vaginal fluids have to directly be deposited into your mucous membranes (in this case your urethra). As the insertive partner hereit is possible, but very unlikely, that you would have acquired HIV from her after one exposure.
2) The girl need to be HIV positive and
3) have detectable viral loads in her blood for you to have this 1% less chance.
4) You mentioned that she went for medical check up every month for STD screening.
Prostitutes, massage therapy, social escorts are not known to transmit the hiv and the fact that they went for monthly check up means they are more "cleaner" than us.
5) and lastly, if you mentioned somebody with HIV negative to Be "clean", you are implying somebody with hiv positive to be "dirty". But they are also like us and for some reasons, they are unfortunate to be infected with the hiv.
Nothing can beat than getting yourself tested to allay your fear. I believe it will come out negative.
