I would rephrase the term "train" to accustomed.
So she knows to come to you and count on you when in need, or in want.
So she knows how you do not want to be and avoid that situation, eg waiting needlessly.
How to accustom would depend on how you react to situation you do not want, tell her once, if it happens again, remind her.
The third time, softly remind her its the 3rd time, say nothing else and walk away, to each his/her own.
You have asserted yourself, its up to her to decide the next step.
