Completely new here, so please help me out

Going to Alor Star end of march then follow on trip to Hatyai. May 2 day not sure yet.

How long does it take by taxi from alor star airport to the boader and then take the minivan to haytia and of couse the cost too lah.

Planing to stay at New Season THB 1000.00. Ok no problem with that.
How do I get to See Kim Yong, (yeah take tuk tuk lah..), what do i tell the drive and where do get down so that i dont get cheated. How do i know which farm (i belive reading here that there are many at See Kim Yong) is the best or must go farm. Any recommendation and info on cost will be helpful.

I am sure many like me probably have ask the same question over and over again. Please help me out one more time.
