First of all, you are not going crazy!

What you have describe could either be candidiasis or trichomoniasis. Run of the mill infection easily treatable with fluconazole and metronidazole respectively. The problem is by taking antibiotics longer than prescribed, you run the risk of developing resistance, which sounds like what is happening with your recurrent infections.

The good news is that the next level of antibiotics will probably cure it. But they are also very toxic so please go only to a reputable infectious disease specialist so that they can monitor you properly. And remember NEVER take antibiotics more than is prescribed! To do so is more harm than good!
