Ben wiped the beads of perspiration from his forehead. The damn airconditioning was malfunctioning again. He cursed and rolled out of bed. His movements woke Grace.

He fumbled around in the dark for the remote control. It was not working either.

Alex was discharged after two days of observation. News of his heroics spread through the school like wildfire.
