Safe Sex

After Reading so many stories here and saw so many advertisments on FLs, i urge everyone here to practice safe sex. Safe Sex does not mean no risk. But it helps reduce the risk. Do go for checks often so that you will not put risk into other people.

Condom Sex is also at risk. taking into consideration if condom broke. Or if it is not using Latex Condom but lamb skin condom. All these will contribute to risk of getting HIV or other STDs.

I have tested several times and had gone through anxiety due to this issue of uncertainty. If you all want to know anything about HIV u all can PM me. If i know, i will be able to answer u. I had been researching and talking to HIV doctors hence i have abit of knowledge abt it.

Those shy to test can go this site to test. then at least u all know your status. They sell Oraquick. The only FDA approved kit

if you are researching, why you only say "condom broke you are at risk" condom not broken you also at risk.

sorry mayb i did not state clear. But condom sex also has its risk. Too bad there is no cure. If not i believe would be better with the cure. Condom can protect u more than 85% but risk is still involved when using them

Eh most of the clinics that I visited before are using oraquick.
I think its the highly recc wan right

hmm how does condom actually protects u 85%? im quite sure is 99% safe when it comes to hiv as long as the condom does not broke during the intercourse. But as for std such as warts etc it could still spread through skin contact and this probably contribute to the 85%? Do clarify thanks

No they are not safe. Various scientific studies have shown that proper use of the condom can provide anything from 60% to 95% reduction in risk of HIV transmission. And the infections were NOT always due to condom failures. The most often quoted study involved more than 3000 HIV 1 sero-discordant couples. Self reported use of the condom reduced the risk of HIV transmission by 78% per sex act. The US CDC’s condom report published in the year 2000 estimated that consistent and correct condom use reduced the risk of HIV transmission by 85%. I have personally seen patients infected with HIV from protected sex without any condom failure. Definitely using condoms are much better than not using condoms when it comes to HIV prevention. However, to say that they are absolutely 100% foolproof is just not true.
