There are some type of rentals that allow you to book 6-hourly/half-day/overnight slots but these are not openly advertised.

Generally for the first-time rental the owner will not rent out to you for just one slot and he will require some sort of verification. After the first time, then he will be more comfortable with you booking a 6-hourly slot.

Yes, it is risky for him. So please understand that he has some verification steps for first-timers and he is not obliged to take on any more clients
