Came back from my second Batam trip last night. Really had a good time there. Total expenditure for a 3d2n was about S$500. Was being offer the following rooms: Standard A room 165k/$22 at level 4 (No Lift) Standard B room 185k/$24 at level 2 and 3 Superior room 210k/$28 at level 2 Therefore took the superior room and proceed to check in to the room. Place my passport and some spare sing dollar inside the hotel safe at the reception counter. Hotel safe box is very safe to use because the hotel staff and myself will each hold a key. In order to open the safe box, both keys will have to be inserted into the keyhole then it can be opened. Frankly speaking money lost never mind, but passport lost it is going to be a big hassle because by the time a new passport is being made which may take several days or weeks, for working people like me (打工子) cannot afford to lose my job, therefore by hook or by crook, passport harus di jaga baik baik.
