Thats right, there are 2 spots. Advice to all brothers not to go there, unless you are a season cheongster. The rules there are different too. For a bit more price, it is better to take reputable ones.

Going Batam some time after their national day in a small group to unwind. Since I would be the "guide" have a lot of studying to do.

Went through 60 pages starting from 682. Quite a lot of information but alas it will be my maiden trip. Thanks to bro NY88 I had shortlisted a few places to visit;

• Tropical
• Princess
• China Town
• Indah 2 (PUJ)
• Berry Indah (PUJ)
• New Flamingo (PUJ)

Have some questions to clarify.

1. Some joints are classified as "pick up joint". Meaning I can book out the girls, whereas the other joints there's no LT just ST?
   
   
2. Any hotel/resort to recommend. Since I will be going in a small group of 3-4. Looking for a suite/bungalow/apartment with rooms at a reasonable () price. Because booking separate rooms would be boring as we will need to meet up in a room for chit chat instead of just meeting up in the living room. Agoda/Expedia not helping much. If price is quite high, I would just book rooms though the rest would prefer otherwise.
   
   
3. One mentioned to stay away from orbat girls. Those girls are taking drugs, recommend you drugs and will set you up with police?

Novotel hotel have a big president room, go to I hotel for ktv and bring the girls back couple of chinese girl there but indo are younger and much prettier. They dont do ubat there.

Most joints have short time. Indah2, New berlian, QUeens, New flamigo massage.

You want a ST then book another gal for LT? Thats up to you, can do one for ST, followed by a LT with another gal from same joint or another joint. You bring gals to a KTV is also your problem. KTVs can supply gals if you dont bring one.

As for drug on gals, leading to police, usually are done by FLs, if they need money. Pick up joints gals are generally safer. If the police wants to raid, you tell them to wait, dont let them touch the sofa seats and watch their hands, ask them to show their hands that they are clean, scared of implant of drugs by them. USually, if it is a FL who alert the police, they come direct to your hotel rooms.

Have you wonder how they know which room to go? So chun? And drugs appear from thin air?

Of cos, be careful during this period of time, as the police are looking for money as well.

hari raya is on thursday, maybe they will start to open by sat, since it is peak time of the week. But no guarentees. Next week is a better bet.

Give Batam a miss until next week. 17 Aug is their national day too....

A lot of travellers and movements in Indonesia from today until then.

Prices will be higher than usual and less shops open too.

Offical holiday is over on monday, but people will take some time before returning to normal.
