Send my girl back around 10am to allow her to wash up and suppose to go pick up my 3 friends at Harbour Bay. 1 friend wasnt feeling well,so i am suppose to be pick only 2 friends today. And suppose to link up another bro at the hotel lobby from SBF in the early noon.

Today's plan,bring my friends for brunch at Eatern Food Court and then to Atalanta Spa.

Just the 3 of us (there should be 4,but 1 was down with diarrhea,so didnt turn up but he did turn up the next following day).

At Eatern Food Court :

I didnt know why my friends were so hungry...lol...and what we ordered were as below,almost the same as shown on the pics above and our table werent enough to hold all our food and there are still more food not send to our table yet (we took up another 50% of the other next to it as well) :

I dont take sea food (i drank some fish soup tho and its good),but my friends seems to like the fishes served. Honest speaking,they finished up all that they ordered. I finish my share of char siew rice too,hehehe...(i like people who finish their food,hehehe...).


After all the food, we need something to help digest ourselves. So we look opposite and decide to head to BCS Mall for a short walk....

...and the hight light of the our BCS shopping is when we were at the arcade....lol.

After the shopping we went back to hotel to pick up the bro in SBF which is suppose to link up with me at the hotel lobby,we rest a little in my room,at the same time do some basic intro ; after which we head to shop in a few booking joints to choose our partners for the night. We got one from MM and another from Bunga,and mine remains the same...from Gold Bird.Another friend choose to remain "single". Our girls are suppose to reach our room at 530pm.

All 4 of us headed to Atalanta Spa thereafter,the SBF bro from the lobby back out cos Atalanta Spa isnt what he was expecting (very Greek-looking type),and he went back to the hotel to rest up a little and got his girl earlier instead of 530pm to keep him company.

Its a simple package and they provide good massage. Literally the better quality and free use of facilities. Free buffet and mineral water too. The whole feel of the spa is like going to old Golden Finger Spa at Jalan Besar but more spacious and lesser people in it. Seen about 5 to 6 masseurs from there,average look rating is 7/10. Open mouth HJ - 400k , FJ - 700k by girls there,but can be bargained to 150k/HJ (no strip) and 300k/FJ .My fren got it at 300k but tip extra 50k (pass to reception to the girl) for her very good attitude (obliging) cos the girl only start work less than 2 weeks and dont wish to bully her as she seems inexperience in the special service pricing.

After the spa trip,we head back to room and await the arrival of our girls. Called up the SBF bro to check if everything is ok and later received his call that he isnt gonna join us for dinner as he choose to allow his girl to bring him to Windsor Food Court for dinner.


Dinner time at 730pm,we move ourselves to Marine Live Sea Food recommended in this thread by bro JohnKHB.

After dinner,we planned to have some small gathering at Alishan KTV. It just a simple one. There were 4 of us with our respective girls.Remember one of my friend choose to sleep alone that night as he didnt get a girl in any of the booking joint,another friend then hope to at least grab him one for the night from Alishan KTV. It was a Wednesday Night and to our surprise,all girls were out....so they only order 2 jars of beer (free 3rd jar) and i just drank coke,hehehe....and the bill :

I think we didnt wait for the KTV to close shop and everyone returned to our respective rooms. Technically i dont have a itinerary from after Altalanta Spa and it has proven to me later in this trip that to have an itinerary is better than no itinerary (especially when in group).

Next morning,everyone has breakfast at the hotel restaurant which usually wont happen if i were to plan them beforehand becos breakfast in hotel is always last part,hehehe....

Add-on: I was learning this Indo song in Sillypore and manage to sang half of it in Alishan KTV,hehehe….(I am still learning stage…lol)

11.06.2015 :

After breakfast,there was totally no plans,we try to contact the SBF bro but i think he must have left to go shopping or something. He planned to stayed for 2 nights but change his mind later to stay only for one. But this all came in too last min as after which another friend of mine is also coming to Batam. The same guy who is suppose to come yesterday but was not well is gonna come today and he is going to bring a bottle of Martell to the Alishan KTV tonight. The SBF bro left for Batam w/o able to say Good Bye to us but left his card key at the reception for me (sincerely thank him for it),the friend of mine came in too early and has already got a room from Kaha travel. Otherwise i could have grab the SBF bro's card key and sell his room to my friend who is on his way so both willing party would minimise any unnecessary damage.1 could save time,while the other can cut his damage by at least 95%. Anyway,the plan didnt work out,so end up on 11th June to 12th June,we have 1 spare room that we later use it as a meeting room,hehehe...

Ok,after picking my other friend with the Martell,we head out to shop for our girls. It didnt take too long before the friend with Martell gets a girl he likes from Gold Bird. Again,the same friend who was w/o girl yesterday still cannot find anything he fancy until the Gold Bird OKT offers HIMSELF to him jokingly that he will go to his room tonight for FREE...lol.

Anyway after choosing our girls,we all meet up for some in-room discussion on what to do next. We all agree to go massage but which massage places should we all go to? I decide that it would be good for them to try Keyza so as to know and see what is unique in Batam as compae to Sillypore. At least Keyza type of massage is not something one could see in Sillypore.

Reached Keyza,and i realise a new Massage Shop, Hallo Kitty was up right next to Keyza.I got distracted by its beautiful sign board and after my 3 friends got their packages in Keyza,i head next door to TRY out this place,hehehe...i kind of regretted but at least i have tried and here i am ,going to share my experience to prevent other bros from kena smoke by the beautiful Hallo Kitty sign board...lol.

The price list :

This place is only good from the outside but seriously lousy from the inside (i mean its room/ambiance). There is a photo album to choose girls,but out of 10 girls,5 girls not working,so basically not many choice. Most are SYT but more of them are towards the semi SYT kind. This place is the 2nd place i got a 100k HJ and 200k FJ.The 1st was from Bridge Massage near Formosa Hotel which is classified as a clean MP,hehehe...just too bad,the special service rate in Bridge Massage has been spoilt.

1st step in and while waiting for my massage girl which i ask the receptionist to pick for me,i already killed 6 mosquitoes. There was no place to clean off the mosquitoe's dead bodies off my hands (no toilet paper,no towel),so i wash it down the bath tub with the riser. There are of course body towels,but i dont want to clean it using those towels cos i know its gonna be used for my massage later.

I get the 1.5 hour package that cost 130k for VIP room with DVD player. The girl was at least a 7.5/10 look,slim and boob size was a handful. She didnt ask too much for special,just 150k/HJ with everything off but manage to bargain to 100k/hj with just top roaming. She "insist" on 200k for FJ (lol) after we already settled 100k/HJ tho. Massage was relative quite good and non-piano type,7/10. Age 22.

Here comes the best part that makes me remember this girl. In between the massage while my body was facing up,i told her about the many mosquitoes around. She manage to kill one mosquito,but i want to know where she is going to leave her kill...end up she just rub off the mosquito dead body off the beddings a bit and continue to massage my body. The exact same hand was use to give me a hj later...lol. The mosquitoes there didnt bite me,but her and i am sure the blood on the mosquito belongs to her....*sob* But all in all,she is a nice petite lady,maybe not so well verse when it comes to hygiene. But if i were to RTM in Hello Kitty again in future,i will bring an insecticide spray and a packet of tissue paper with me,hehehe.... lucky i ask her not to give me oil massage beforehand tho.

1 small fact about this mosquito infested place is,while i see at least 20 mosquitoes flying around,none of them seems interested in biting me (or suck my blood),hehehe....maybe they like local blood or maybe they are just male mosquitoes (i think only female mosquitoes bite),hehehe....

After massage,about time we had some late lunch,so we decide to try our luck at the Kaiten Sushi inside BCS mall,since we arent too far from it,even tho we all knew its Grand Opening is on 15th June 2015.

....the sign above was right,they are not open on 11th June and luck wasnt on our side. Still inside BCS mall,we head to another neigbouring restaurant to have our lunch instead which i didnt take down its name becos restaurant food wasnt suppose to be in part of my trip (unless its a sushi restaurant cos one of my friends came here specially for the sushi ).

The Kaiten Sushi restaurant was opened but they are just not ready for business...

After finishing our food in the "dont know what" restaurant at BCS mall,we head back to room while the friend with the Martell went to Gold Bird to fetch my girl and his as we planned to have dinner at another friend's recommended restaurant and then to catch a Movie in the evening at Nagoya Hill Mall.

Hmm...after reaching back to rooms,rest up a little,and our girls soon arrived. We plan to have dinner 1st before heading to watch Jurrasic Park at 615pm.

Now this is where the problem and all the mistakes i mention earlier start surfacing. My girl didnt join us for dinner and i really thank God for that as knowing her characteristic well enough,i know she will hardly want to walk around with her high heels.

Now we have 6 person together with 2 girls. So we will need 2 taxis to bring us to a "i also dont know where" non air-con zhi char restaurant,hehehe.Its also quite a distance away from Formosa Hotel. I have the name and address tho...but even with that,taxi drivers still need to struggle to get there. About 15min drive.

...and the receipt of our bill for the rush rush dinner below. Haiz...the fact that its been a rush becos we need to catch the Jurrassic Park movie at 615pm in Nagoya Hill Mall. That is one of our key mistake which will later lead to more mistakes in our trip. In past trips,i make it a point,NEVER to rush in anything i do. Everything has to be just slow and steady. It is stupid of me to actually forget this point.

Honestly,all of us were practically quite full when we only just had lunch about 3 to 4 hours ago. I believe only me and the friend who brought along the Martell are the only person appreciating the good food in this restaurant as both of us were not sea food fanatics,hehehe....this place is more like a zhi char shop.

The curry fish head was good according to my friends who tried,i only had the curry sauce,hehehe. Very Sillypore style of curry sauce. It is suppose to be the shop's specialty. The pork Ribs and the fried chicken was my favourite. Again i am going to say this again,the food served belongs to the good tasting cartegory,the type that makes people hungrier with every bite. The food i find is a little cheaper than the one at Marine Live and at an almost equal kind of good taste. I cant really make a fair comparison here becos i am comparing base on non-sea food and with entirely different kind of food served on the table. Having said that,if i didnt remember wrong,the chef was a Malaysian,so the food cooked was more towards Maylasian/Sillyporean taste bud. The only bad part of this,its quite a distance from where we stay.

The restaurant also give us very big portion of the food too.

We literally RUSH thru dinner,hence we didnt dare order much but the true fact is most of us werent hungry after only having pretty heavy lunch just 3 to 4 hours ago. There was 2 girls with us there. We arrived at around 5pm,rush to finish all food around 550pm. I called for 2 taxis at 555pm,both taxi driver told me 10 mins...one arrived on time and send one couple plus 1 men to Nagoya Hill Mall 1st. The other taxi arrive at 615pm....movie starts at 615pm!!! By the time the 2nd taxi arrive at Nagoya Hill Mall,it is already 630pm becos of some minor traffic jam and upon reaching Nagoya Hill Toll gate,the toll machine that issue ticket at the press of a button ran out paper (lol) and the guy taking care of the toll machines has to come out to change the paper roll. Oh,and the guy who came ot to change paper roll looks like a newbie at his job too. Now you see why i was a little mad at that point of time.

Bad things dont just come once or twice...it usually comes in 3s or 4s. During the rush to the theatre,i almost forget that some of my friends brought their girls along. Girls on high heels CANNOT RUN...but nonetheless this girl from my friend still try her best (really must thank her for that) to walk the fastest she could. This is why i rarely bring girls out for movies/shoppings,hehehe....even in this trip. i thank God my girl didnt tag along (which i often discourage),otherwise sure spoil my whole evening's mood.

Apparently we missed the Jurrasic Park Movie and we have to go grab the next movie available.The movie, Jurrasic Park was almost FULL too. Seems like we are all not fated to watch that it. We picked San Andreas at 720pm.

I think everyone of us was quite shagged out from this rushing thingy that we actually bought 7 movie tickets when only 6 person were watching the movie....lol. Tickets were at 25k/piece and we went for a short rest at a nearby restaurant for coffee (and smoke) at the same time get some rest for the girl who were running with their heels on.

The reason why we wants the movie at that particular hour was becos there is suppose to be another session of Alishan KTV in the later evening. Again,another rush rush with every program of the evening clamped too close together. Yes,i admit...this is one of my Batam travelling mistake some time ago. There should NEVER be a rush in the 1st place.

Back to the movie,its an earthquake disaster movie and all of us finds that the movie was surprisingly GOOD! Its a combination of the movie,The Perfect Storm + 2012 End of the World kind of movie.

San Andreas,the movie was good. Its been a while since i last watch a movie in a theatre. I think i should watch movie in my every trip to Batam,hehehe...anyway,after the movie we all stroll back to Formosa Hotel becos i dont wish to waste another 2 taxi ride back. Yea,next stop...Alishan KTV with the bottle of Martell which we planned to bring in. Yesterday we were at Alishan,but today we go again. I dont drink,but i still go and i have only one objective. The receipt of the KTV,the pricing.

2 big bottles of Mineral water : 94k
1 pack of cig : 41k
5 can of green tea (mixer) : 170k (34k/each)

30% off : -252k

Girl booking : 280k (we only get one girl for the guy w/o girl in our group)
Cover Charge : 400k (becos we bring in 1 bottle of our own Martell)

(that is about S$146.07 base on 9850/SGD exchange rate that day)

We have 4 men that evening. Everyone was drinking SLOWLY...i was the only with the coke,hehehe....and THEY (my friends) were trying make the girls tipsy but i see it going a bit too slow,so i devise a more enticing new game,which easily finish 4 jars of beer and half the Martell in about an hour. End of the night,which i later knew the next day is 2 girls puked...the other one i arent too sure cos she belongs to the KTV.My girl as usual were like me,dont really drink and we left the KTV and back to room earlier than the rest,hehehe.... Song selection was quite alright. I pull out the only indo song i have been practising in Sillypore KTV to "test mic" ...lol :

There are of course other songs that stirs the atmosphere for the evening,most of which i dont quite understand. Anyway,I left the guys for the evening on their own as my girl has left too. I need my bonks still i do double check on all of them being sober enough to walk back to their room. It is only the next morning breakfast that we met up with each other again. We headed for the Hotel's free breakfast and our plan for the last day of our trip. A massage session at Indo Thai w/o any special service near Penuin :

Cost each of us 200k for a 1.5 hr massage. Its an open room partitioned only by just curtain. At this point,everyone needs a break from all the sexual activities from the last 2 to 3 nights,hehehe...massage was good which covers every inch of our bodies,i think Indo Thai Massage was comparable with the one at Atalanta but my friends says they are a bit better than Atalanta. By the way,Indo Thai isnt cheap. If Atalanta is at 250k for open room concept and being the most expensive,Indo Thai would be the 2nd most expensive for a 1.5 hr massage at 200k.

After the massage,there was some rain,we initially wish to go to the Japanese Restaurant at Nagoya Hill Mall but i told them Jap food wasnt my cup of tea and we will still need to search for the location of the restaurant,so we all end up in Hotel Instar coffee shop for that Bak Chor Mee and the Hor fun (some other zhi char food too).Lucky it was still open...lol.

We were late for the hotel check out,so extended one of our room for half a day for 350k at Formosa while checking out the rest of the other rooms. There was a total 5 rooms,we check out 4 of it. It was a Friday,the same day Formosa was almost fully booked.

Back to the room,rest a little...and we went off at around 515pm to Harbour Bay to take our ferry back to Sillypore. Every was rather grouchy as good time passes fast in Batam. When we reach Harbour Front,we went to a food court and i realise the difference between life in Batam and Sillypore. We have to squeeze inside a very very big food court to eat in Sillypore with minimum comfort but in Batam,we have all the space we need to lay back at a small food court to fully enjoy the delicacy.

Anyway,thats about the end of our trip. I learned a few lessons in this trip.I will just lay the mistakes here for my own future reference for future trips.

1. I should have planned an itinerary like i always do for 2nd night onward since i know most of my friends werent as experience in Batam as myself.

2. I have over spend by more than double the amount i budgeted due to my lack of discipline.I am very sure my friends over spend too.

3. We were suppose to go to Jap Restaurant Bento Tei but we didnt make it there.

4. We were suppose to shop at some warehouse shopping mall instead of wasting our time at BCS mall for 2 days in a roll.

5. The normal me rarely step into any air con eating place,but i did for the 2nd and 3rd day/night trip.

6. We didnt spend much on girls,but more onto food,drinks, massage and KTVs in this trip. I am sure we didnt get chopped but where did our money go to? I dont know...lol.

7. I trusted the taxi too much,assuming they are like Sillypore taxi in terms of puntuality, i expected too much,i forget the indo culture,my expectation isnt balance.

8. What the trip lacks are diciplines this round. Everyone has their own itinerary,and i try to cater everyone's itinerary into the trip. This will not happen again.

Overall,its a crazy 4D3N for me. I learned a lot from this trip and gather much info than what i would normally do (eg. Alishan KTV pricing,how the KTV system works,Atalanta Spa ambiance,Indo Thai kind of massage,super nice food places etc). But i believe it can be done with lesser cost in future. The worst in travelling overseas are spending a lot more than usual but yet not getting what we were hoping for. Anyway,its a curse from my personal perspective,and i kind of expected it. So in my next trip,my number 18th trip to Batam...it is going to be a "correction trip". I shall right my wrong from there onward,hehehe...

My rating for my 17th Batam Trip : overall 6.5/10 (16th trip was 8.5/10)

I finally struggle to finish this 17th trip summary...now? I LOOKING FORWARD to my 18th Batam "correction" trip. Making sure i try my best to avoid making mistakes from my current 17th trip,..and15th,13th,11th ,9th,7th,5th and 3rd Batam trip,hehehe....

Until then..... (i am actually looking forward to my 18th Trip cos i know it is gonna be a good one as i am not going to make silly mistakes)

...and as for how to get there? I happen to chance upon the map when i was replying to bro Micmac on how to get to Hotel Instar coffee shop to eat the Bak Chor mee....it is just directly opposite Hotel Instar :

...walking distance from Formosa Hotel if you notice the map and very near to New Berry too. That should help reply most of the PMs that ask me on the whereabout of a Pharmancy in Batam. If you still dont know how to go there by yourself,just go to the next available Pharmancy at Nagoya Hill Mall. 1st Floor inside Nagoya Hill Mall facing Sakura Hotel also have another pharmacy.

In my 4D3N in Batam,the below 3 joints Queen8933, Flamboyan and New Berlian has been shut down for business.

....its sad to see joints closed down,hope to see more new booking joints open for business in the months to come.

Trinity Spa has been closed for a few months as of date too. Over the last 3-4 trips,I have been there,they were not open for business.

This is the last part,dont be too bother about it,i am just taking notes here (not much to share from here onward)

Keep your eyes open on this one if you are still watching....

By the way,i am already looking forward to my coming 18th Batam trip and July is just about another week away. Also about time i start planning my CNY 2016 Batam trip,hehehe...

thx for sharing ur trip summary. i may try tis place since u say got syts on album there. But unlikely to take the vip rm since ur description on the room so jia lak. 200k for fj is within my budget.

This the one that I complain about. Change name also? Yes.. the Bawang chicken is the signature dish. But the boss/worker super stuck up. Always says full... no more accepting new customers. Got really pissed and stop going. Becos they don't accept fewer than 3 customers per table!!! or they chase you away saying they fully booked.

Hehehe...i have been watching the rates over the last few days. Looks like the 9900 to 9960 are here to stay till Hari Raya. I also learn that booking joint girls price seems to drop a little over the last few days...lol. A friend of mine told me he booked an overnight MILF from New Berry at 500k yesterday (no taxi).

The date fix by you are dates for people who die die need to go Batam during Ramadan month. Among the worst,those were still considered better dates. But it does not mean its a good date tho.

The best among the worst dates to go Batam if i choose to go during Ramadan month are 21st to 30th June and...6th to 15th July 2015....lol. It does not mean they are good dates to go,just the best among the worst if i die die must go....lol.
