Formosa has 2 rooms that can connect to each other. You will need to book 2 rooms tho,email them to book. I read your questions again as below.

I am quite surprise to see Lovinna Inn Nagoya got rooms available at agoda...lol. Usually their rooms are always fully book to the extend agoda dont even need to publish this hotel on their site at all.

By the way,price per night is about S$28.45 per night from agoda (exclude +10%+11% tax) for a better grade "superior" room (their inferior-ed room is "standard" and cheaper),hehehe...anyway, thats not my point in this post. Seeing Lovinna Inn Nagoya in agoda tells me most Batam businesses is currently quite affected by the Ramadan month.

Interesting find for me...hehehe...

Personally,i like this hotel for only one reason. It is a decent hotel less than 2 mins walk to Formosa Hotel and Formosa is a more centralized hotel to most places i often go. They are also much cheaper than Formosa too,hehehe...

With the closure of Dynasty99,New Berlian and Queen8933,i think Formosa Hotel cannot be called the MOST centralized hotel that are close by to most Batam entertainment places anymore. One main reason why i will still be staying there is becos they have "my room" where no other hotels in Batam has.

Unfortunately...there is no wifi in rooms...only at lobby.
But that is small issue, just get a sim card w data at lucky plaza.

I did ask whether can see the rooms...but the recep dont seem to understand me. So, didnt materialise.

Im considering the below hotels for my next short trip.
Han's Inn (read from Bro FreshJives's FR)
Lovina Inn
Biz Hotel
Nagoya Mansion (this one is expensive...on my HQ app...Sat price is SGD50+. Sun price is SGD39)
Nagoya Plasa (this one is super close to Nagoya Hill Mall....just outside...but my friend told me this is old hotel....in fact is the first hotel he stayed when first cheong in batam more than 10 years back!!)

There is SGD printed there n I think is based on very old rates.

For eg. The most pricey package is 280000 which is abt SGD28.57 based on 9800.

I don't advise to follow any strategy of kind "The cheaper the better". It will not lead anyone far in Batam...
I keep "my" Formosa as my safest haven in Batam. (Hello staff! you know I love you!)
But if that is the strategy, one can find a room for 1 SGD/night (no wifi, though).
