If you are the kind of tourist that like to explore new places, there are alot more shopping mall than what we tourist know of like Nagoya hill, BCS, DC Mall, Hyper Mall. I saw one around batam center area, a few on the way to Batu Aji Top100.

So,can i safely say :

Small mini bus : 3k fare

Bigger Bus : 4k fare

I seen the small bus,it was so crowded to the extend that passengers are standing and squeezing inside it. I will be looking forward to see how their big bus looks like.

Thanks for sharing that there are more shopping malls than those standard ones that was common mentioned in the thread.

May i ask,if anyone has ever visit the below Hindu Temple before and if tourist are allowed entry?

Hi bro,thank you for your interest in Batam. There is another alternate way from Johor to Batam but you will need to so some research online to get to the ferry terminal at Johor and from there,you are unlikely to be landing in Batam's Harbour Bay if you choose that route. So my guide will technically become useless to you until you have reached Formosa Hotel.

My guide on my signature shows you the way to reach Batam starting from Singapore Harbour Front MRT/Ferry Terminal and return.

Today I woke up at 12 (alarm watch) to find that my beloved girl R (ultra pro, former hard core girl in Newton, then pub girl, now more relaxed FL) has left me alone in the bed in the morning without me even noticing it.

i still do not recommend to try those mini bus.. unless you are familiar with the place that you're going and fluent in communicate with local.. and watch out for your pocket..

anyway, that temple is located next to restaurant Kak Dadut. if you do visit the site, can have a meal at restaurant with the view facing southlink golf course.. it's a quite a view.. i used to dine there.



the temple site share the same location with restaurant. it's very quiet.. like somewhere in the middle of jungle. the structure and statue quite unique. the temple is usually locked and not open for public. however it's open air and you can see clearly from the fence of the site..

Hi bro,do you really need to stay at Swissbel Hotel? If not you can just read my signature and follow thru. Swissbel Harbour Bay Hotel is very near to Harbour Bay Hotel,in fact very very near,so near i don't know how to explain it in text. I found 2 Swissbel Hotel,so you need to know which one you book.The onther one you will need to take taxi.

Both Swissbel Hotel are in the map and sorry,you need to strain abit to look at the map. Worse comes to worse,just hail a taxi.
