These guys never heard of the PM function here for their stoooopid TCSS.

To separate all these totally useless posts from the great informative posts by nono1973, newyorker88, S.B.Y.1, miumiu6464 etc etc.

Great suggestion - and I vote for both nono1973 and newyorker 88 to be the TS. Then we'll all know which thread to read if we want to visit temples or eat certain foods!

Ooops - sorry to also be TCSS'ing here, but I do want to make the point that IMHO, it's a travesty that the stellar effort of so many great contributors to make this particular thread such a delight of TRULY informative and helpful posts, being denigrated by these useless TCSS, which has been cropping up of late.

I am more in favour of one tcss thread and another one info sharing thread...my suggestion keep the existing thread for info sharing and a new TS starts a Indonesia tcss thread...then anyone can go there to tok cock sing song till you happy happy...just like what is going on in new Thai tcss thread...I had closed 3 of the BKK threads...left one for info sharing so anyone can post their serious thingy there...

if you look into my stickies...you will find things a bit more organised...threads are being grouped into cities...with original names...

And especially nono1973 who have been tireless and totally unselfish with his sharing of all sorts of great, usable information.

IMHO, he more than deserves to be recognized and be made TS.

Yes, i agreed both bro are regular feature here in the batam scene.
Bro nono more recent and bro newyorker is a very well respected figure and he stay there and have alot of knowleage too.

Indonesia tcss thread can be started by bro newyorker

the current thread should remain and shift some post to tcss.
Those information sharing with be inside and can be started by bro nono

I'm just curious on 1 thing,i notice u keep calling yr driver "unreliable" in most of yr summary. I see yr driver very good aldy as he drives u everywhere far & near & no black face or complain.I'm sure most other drivers will surely not do that. He at least drive u all to more than 20 pts & back in yr 3d2n trip.My last driver aldy shw me black face after visiting 3 places without getting girl. Sorry,can't help being curious & envious.

hi guys, i remember there is this one shopping centre near Ace Hotel Batam.
When i went in to the arcade i saw people playing those machines like coin dozer and it really drops coins.

FR: one day trip on foot to OCTOPUSS (my very first FR)

Reach harbourfront centre at 11am,
brought a $48 + $8 business class seat at HORIZON that leave at 1215pm.
The additional $8 come with a girl that serve u drink, wet towel and sweets but the plus point is you can be the first one to alight the ferry and be the first few to chop the passport.

Once reach harbour bay i change money at the ferry terminal area (note: at the time comparing the exchange rate at Harbourfont 9100 and over ferry teminal is 9200).

After that i follow the sign board (ferry check in) and reach the Horizon counter to book the 845pm return ticket.

have a quick lunch at one of the food court near the Horizon counter.. order a big fish with rice cost 20000 ..wow that fish is big and fresh.

Just after the ferry terminal at the food court across the road is Harbour Bay Mall. I walk in the mall from one end the the other exit, exit the mall walk all the way to the main road, at the T junction i turn right and walk toward Pacific Palace Hotel..at that junction i can see a ship look alike building at about 400m away and that is the hotel

Reach at the hotel, i did not entry by the front door, i walk toward the left side of the hotel there another entry at the side of the hotel in the mid section.
Go in take a lift to 8 floor and reach OCTOPUSS, collect a locker key at the counter and a Petty PR will escort you in to discuss what package i would like.
first choose room types:
Suite at 360,000 or
President 363,000 (she say promo now)

Next she will also ask all the available gals line up for me to choose,
there are silver 400,000 and 500,000 for gold

after all done i went a dip in the hot pool
The whole place very spacious there is a hot pool, cool pool, steam room, sauna, open mini gym but nothing to eat over there and all drink need to pay.

After the dip i told to PR that i m ready and she lead me to my room, it is a big room with TV, Hifi, mini fridge and a jacuzzi bath tub.
I fill up the jacuzzi bath tub half way first, to save time while waiting and also took a beer to drink at the fridge.
The gals came in, she start it with the body to body massage from front and back for 10min each, after that action time. Feel good at the whole process as she never rush and GFE all the way.

After that we take a short bath and follow a dip at the jacuzzi together.
She also give me a head massage at that time....nice...(note the gal will ask for tip at later stage but i told her i didnt bring any money in...then she say its ok... well her services is good ..i dont mind to tip her if she really want)

Left that place and walk back to the Harbour Bay Mall, i go to the second floor there a Manzu Massage shop, i took up a 2 hrs body massage plus 1 hrs on the foot.... (note: there is wifi in the shop)
After that i walk back to the ferry terminal, there a few seafood restaurant at the side of the ferry terminal that face the sea.
I order a carb and a steam fish..food are very fresh but taste so so.. will try the other shop the next time.

Summary:
Reach Batam Ferry terminal 1200hrs cost S$48+S$8 ferry + 20,000 fish lunch
OCTOPUSS 1230 to 1500 cost 500,000 gal + 363,000 Rm + 22,500 Beer
Mazu Massage 1530 to 1830hrs cost 170,000 body + 80,000 foot
Seafood 1845 to 2000hrs cost 110,000 fish + 110,000 crab
Ferry boarding at 2015hrs and leave at 2045hrs

Hmmm.... your post prompted me to re-read Hurricane88's post again.

He specifically mentions a TCSS thread for INDONESIA and not just for Batam
- so perhaps somebody who does have a good grasp of things Indonesia generally should also be considered.

Just TCSS'ing myself here - with apologies for polluting this fine thread with such.
