- Kez's Resto (5mins)
- Mitra Raya Wet Market (where Momo is located) - economy rice, carrot cake, hawker food, bkt, etc.
- De Bottle (5mins)
- Kepri Mall (7mins to 15mins depending on traffic)
- Mega Mall, Batam Center Ferry Terminal (6~8mins)

c. Commuting convenience. Taxi drivers know Greenland Hotel but not some obscure XXX motel.

d. Clean Massage : Fitness Spa (aka Greenland massage). Opposite main entrance of Greenland Hotel.
- They got 2 price lists. One bro earlier posted a 320K spa treatment. He was given the "normal" pricelist that comes in a folder. Not the local one which is only a single pamphlet paper.

e. Decent Hotel. Will not feel insecure about leaving belongings in the room while you roam outside.

Hmm...i dont recommend (cos i never stay there before),but i do remember bro SBY did mention about a Hotel 01 around Batam center that is still considerably new (about a year old or so by now) And i think if you are there and with no intention of bringing girl/s to your room,this place's appearance should look pretty neat.

(most Batam girls are Muslim,hence most do not like the look of idols all over the hotel)

It should cost you around S$36 to S$42 (tax included via booking.com) depending on room type. And well,there are Wifi too,hehehe...its an obviously an Egyptian theme hotel. Please remember to read the other reviews of this hotel before you make the booking too,becos according to it,there are some that says good,there are some that says not-so-good.

One of a funny situation,i found a lizard in my room and the room service guy just helped me get rid of it,but not before the lizard tour around the cups and spoons in the room,hehehe...

I already stated in my earlier posting that Aug 2015 trip is going to be a private group trip. Selected friends only...and i also stated no announcement of dates until i am already in Batam. I just kept my words.

Not going to share which hotel i am staying in at this point but you are right, it is a 2 star hotel. And no,the issue was not with the girls. Its with the towel. I am looking for the best for least,i booked a cheap 2 star hotel,there was 2 bath towels,2 pillows,1 roll of almost finished toilet paper. So i requested for 2 more bath towels,2 more pillows and 1 more roll of toilet paper. Guess what they say? So i asked them,is it becos i am only booking a cheap room and deposit my passport instead giving them a 800k deposit thats why they are not giving me the 2 extra towels? Then the boss who happens to be there quickly allows my request w/o me having to get an extra room. (i think the staffs was quite shock by my request that sounds very calm at that point time,hehehe...)

When i went down to the reception later again,i explain to the boss (and receptionists) this is the 1st time i had an issue with extra bath towels in so many of my trips to Batam. I also reminds the boss that that this is the 1st time i am in their hotel, i have another 2 more friends coming over the next day to stay in your hotel not counting those that are already there and i am staying in their most expensive room (about 600k),so if you lost me as a customer,you dont lose 1 customer,you lost a whole line of customers with me. All my request was done in a well mannerly manners with all smiles thru out.

There was no safe box in the room too,so i think it is safer to deposit my passport with them. By the way,i like their room, tho it is still quite a distance away from from my ideal room in Formosa,hehehe...it has a potential for getting modified into my ideal room,the peep hole on my room door to see who is outside my room was stuffed with a piece of completely dried up chewing gum which cannot be removed by their maintenance staff.There is a lizard in the eating area too.

Getting 600k for girls today is still pretty much easy,you just need to hit the right button in the respective booking joints that has 500k-600k girls. We will start with the basics :

Goldbird - Gold bird still has 600k girls. They are actually the 700k girls you see and if you approach them during weekdays w/o a taxi driver,you are highly likely to get the girls at 600k. My 1st 500k girl is from Gold Bird.

Permata Indah - This joint has always had 600k girls w/o the need to really bargain much. But choices wont be much. And i talk about with or w/o taxi here.

New berry - About 2 trips ago ago,there was at least half a dozen of 600k girls there and i see yesterday there are still some. Again i am talking about with or w/o taxi.

These 3 booking joints are Batam big sized booking joint among the 5. The other 2 that i categorized under big sized booking joints are Happy 8 and Bunga (this 2 will cost 20% to 30% higher in price). Do note that you will be able to get 600k girl easier during the off peak season or days. And there are no shortcuts,always bargain and bargain with manners,hehehe...

The above said 600k girls in their respective joints are mostly (if not all) MILF of around 33+ years old of age which is relatively quite different from the same 600k girls i got yesterday,hehehe...this part will require a lot of experiment,experience and some trial and error. And its my secret and private recipe,hehehe...

Dont wish to share it here for fear of the extinction in overnight SYTs (19 years old to 23 years old) at 500k to 600k in Batam. i am very sorry about it.

From my perception,the term"good thing never cheap and cheap things never good" DONT really apply to Batam.
