You get a KTV room even if you not htl guest, dun need to pay any cover charges. Room rates 250Kabove, depending on size. The Bigger 1 can fit in more than 30pax, with KTV room, a sitting room and balcony. Once U get the room U can sing there till they close at 1 time fee. Last time have gals U can book, and there are "PRs" only TCSS with u, and can even get a strip dancer into the room, now I dun know liao. Should still have ba, just ask around.

You referring to Swiss inn? Used to be called island garden?

Also, you can pick up vouchers which is cheaper than walk in rates for hotels at KAHA, when you pass the customs, before exiting the doors.

Anyway, where you stay has a few pick up joints close by, Tropical, gold bird, Bougaville. Harmoni Hotel is close to Moonlight massage, and Just massage, I tried before, is clean. If you are keen into FL or disco, try planet disco or Pacific Disco at Pacific hotel.

My list of massage is on my signature. Do take a read if you are into massage.

Take the hotel taxi and nego the rates properly first.

Bro newyorker advised u to get hotel voucher from Kaha.
But this Kaha counter only at Batam Center.
If u go to Harbour Bay it's not Kaha.

But......there is a Kaha office opposite Harmoni Hotel for ur info.

btw what is the market rate for taxi from jetty to hotel.

Hi Bro 38Tiger,

personally I find batam safer than JB...., if you dare walk around JB you shouldn't be afraid to walk around in Batam...of cos we still need to be careful at all times....

staying at Planet Holiday, Harmoni, Panorama, Novotel, etc...are among the better hotels by Batam standard...

many food courts have quite decent and quality seafood and reasonable price.....nearest probably the Pacific food court...stall number 999 food is good...as well at the food court the last stall has BBQ seafood is also good....

outside taxi fare :
1 ) from harbour bay to the above 4 hotels is quite standard rp40k to rp50k
2 ) hotel to pacific food court about rp30k to rp40k
3 ) hotel to Nagoya Hill shopping mall - about rp30k to rp50k
4 ) Harbour Bay mall shopping - if you are staying at Novotel probably just walk there maybe 5 min...can see from the hotel...if from the other 3 hotels...maybe rp20k to rp30k

Thanks for writting out alot of info, I would add on that Nagoya Hill has a nice hotel nearby called I- Hotel. If you are bringing your wife there for a day or 2, to shop, spa and nail service, you can try Nagoya Hill Mall.

Eska Spa, nail services, Isabella, sawadeeka are all within the mall.

As for food, unless you got friends who are willing to drive to Punggul, or Batu Besar, where these are good food places, then dont try it. The taxi fare may be a bit ex, for 2, but for a bigger group, it is worth it.

Other than that, there are A1 food court, Harbour bay food court, Pacific food cout, etc.

Ask if the driver knows about Hai Ow food, use to be next to the canal, but he shifted a few houses down, pretty good zhi char.

Another mall I recommand where you can get more chinese items is BCS mall, which is mainly chinese.

ermm add-on a bit for the hotel and spa,
can save a bit money from i-hotel to nagoya hill mall as u exit from the backgate...walk a few min can reach the shopping mall le.

personally prefer eska as it's more for privacy + my bones too weak for th strong massage in isabella
