Indo Thai is a clean and good place for massage. Opposite there is a coffee shop nice food for breakfast, especially the mee siam and fried kuay teow only for morning breakfast, very crowded.

Further down, those shop, near to the end of the roll of shops, past the pork stall( room), come to a stall sell Bak Chor Mee, best in batam, take note it is a stall under the stairs, not in the coffee shop, The name is "Bei Long" written in chinese...

The cook is a rather fat half chinese/malay guy. Damm good mee..

The shop you referring to belongs to a ah pek, and there is char kway tiao, and mee rubus... mee siam, etc.... and a nasi campor... All the morning there business damm good.

Any bro can recommend driver? Or is it ok to hire those dat hang arnd the ferry terminal? Mi n my friend jux need a ride from terminal to hotel, look for ceweks and next day from hotel to terminal. Thanx in advance..

There will be lot of partying to celebrate new year here, we term it as NEW and OLD....

Better tag along with someone, hotel prices will be very ex and all gals will be out of stock very fast, like some brother mention liao.

Get a driver is ok, go to hotel and find the gals on your own. No commission... as for hotel to terminal, ask the counter to get one for you.

The list of gals from booking joints are found in this thread, not too long ago only...

Batam is really a nice place..for girls, makan all very cheap..and the people there are friendly too.. as long as u dun try to be funny =)
thanks to bro mas joki, i been walking around batam like a PRO already, u see i dun have to take taxi from here to there and that save me a lot of money, and i enjoy walking around the streets of batam, it make u a very local feeling and i been to movies of nogoya, it feel as the same in singapore and damm it just cost me 30000 rup...haha, i hope to go with bro mas joki again, a very nice person n we enjoy each company alot, he take good care of me during our last trip always teach me a lot of stuff in batam, bro mas joki, our next trip dinner is on me ok..thanks very much =)

Plentiful of taxis ard in Batam . Just hail, half the price quoted and finish the taxi ride.

Never ever get too aquanted with taxi drivers !!!!
