Only 35b for few chilli prawns (quite big) on rice. Damn delicious. Maybe I go with puying and she ordered. But on other occasion I go also did not feel overcharged cos maybe I compare with Sukhumvit

from past experience, the seafood prices in Chinatown Yaowarat are mostly on the high side and seafood pricing in Ratchada area are more reasonable in comparison. The Bangkok Chinatown is almost the equivalent of Jalan Alor or Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur and the food and good on sale are priced accordingly to target uninitiated tourists rather than locals, especially in high pedestrian traffic area of the main road.

I hate MK duck also...dun know why thais like it so many. Roost duck the HK style still da best. I also feel Chinatown food quite ex leh...prefer to explore non touristy place....found a few gems.....along thon buri area.

Tony referring to the road side shark fin soup and bird nest in Yaowarat. Tim Sum is always better in CP.....

Hi bros and sis, i need some recommendations for clubs in bkk. I know that most of the clubs in bkk need to be 21 but some of my friends not yet 21 only a few of us are 21. So any suggestions on which clubs we can go?? Don't have to be clubs, other place we can have girls and fun that will be fine too.

Brought my puying to Hong Kong and give her try the roast duck, goose, char siew & dim sum there and she was

Tony, yes the prices of the Yaowarat roadside seafood BBQ is expensive now so thats why I seldom go unless I am in the area. More than 10 years plus ago was only one store then pop up another one opposite.

Uncle, sharks fins and birds nest I not really into it anymore... Save the Sharks! Stop exploiting the bird nest gatherers!

Yaowarat mostly eat at the stalls you find along the road. Have a few favs like the "kway chap" stall that opens only in the evenings in front of the old cinema lobby. Its more like our "pig organ pepper soup" but Thais call it kway chap

Maybe I too lazy to jam on the road for an hour just to eat something. Nowadays I like to get out of Bangkok city and spend a weekend in province.... cheaper, better food n no traffic jam.
