Actually i was trying to figure out when was their exact public holiday. Public holiday time ,the hotel rooms tends to be more costly as there are more crowd. Oh,I am also trying to find an auspicious date to go Batam too,hehehe....

I have a free indo calender from Kaha Travel sometime ago but it does not reflect whats being shown online regarding its public holiday declared nationally. Kind of puzzlling and thats why i am trying to find out more so i can better plan my dates to go. I heard MORE NEW GIRLS are coming after Hari Raya,hehehe....coming trip may be a little bigger sized group than usual. 1st time trying this,so must plan properly and not screw up...lol.

Already reply your post of the same question sometime ago,the date you choose to go Batam if it is on 4th to 5th of July 2015,then it should be alright as it is 2 days after 2nd July.Its still one of the better dates among the worst and its weekends. Just be humble,be courteous,show respect to people who are fasting (even massage and booking girls) and dont talk loudly like those typical Sillyporean and AVOID eating,drinking and smoking in the open during fasting timing (usually before 7pm).You are afterall in a Muslim country. centre, I choose sindo cos is cheaper.
then email to sg sindo to reserve my seat on
Monday since taking the first ferry at 0800 hr and is a Saturday, better
to reserve early. As for return trip no worry is Monday..
Booked Hans Inn from booking.com for $80 2 nights.

1st day:

Reach Harbourbay front at 0700hr, checked in at 0730, and it was full.
Reach batam centre terminal and straight take a cab rp70k to my hotel.
check in around 1000hr indo time and notice many rooms empty along my way to my room at 5th level.

Unload all my stuff and head for brunch at instar hotel bah chor mee...good!
then walk to farmosa hotel opp to change money and then to lucky plaza to buy my sim card, total rp77k...recce around that area abit eg relax message,
indorasa...before walked to Nagoya hill shopping mall.

bought movie ticket terminator for 1930hr and had bubble tea at café near to cinema. relax for abt 1 hr then head to coffee chop next to Biz Hotel. Had coffee and Swee curry puffs there. again rest for 1 hr there. then proceed to recce message shops around utama and pagoda hotel. cos is my first time there, basically I just want to get familiar with the route to all the massage and booking joint by walking and it was damn hot on sat...was sweating like waterfall...went in to few msg shops eg keyza and the 2 with pic as listed in nono's list and some others. No action, just went in and ask for price and see photos..hehe..after that walk back to hotel and take a rest before movie time.
