It's called MRT. Take the green line (EW), alight in Tanah Merah and take the train at the other side, long ride, change in Outram Park and walk to take the purple line (NE), one stop, you are in Harbour Front. Overall, it will take about 55'.

Thankyou, yes that is very cheap. I will leave my luggage there and book a hotel near habourfront to catch ferry. Thankyou for your help and all the info.

hey bro, is my first time visiting batam... any hotel to recommend? guess i will skip/avoid formosa hotel at the moment...

any nice massage or ktv to recommend? possible to list down the dmg as well.

Hi can try sport massage just opposite harmony hotel. Is a clean massage suitable for family or for u to energize up.

I was thinking to your plan today, and suddenly it came to my mind a question which should have come before: ok, you arrive late at Changi and cannot go straight to Batam because you miss the last ferry, but, instead of spending the night in a hotel near Harbour Front, why don't you stay near Geylang??

You can take the MRT in the morning and be at Harbour Front in half an hour or so.

I was close to speak about Serangoon/Lavender area (eg serangoon shopping center,Hotel 81,Fragrance hotel etc),but I think hotels around Geylang would be the lowest priced in Sillypore. Well,unless one chose to stay around Backpacker's hotel (S$20-S$25 a day) along Lavender Road,hehehe...
