Sadly, Danok isn't as happening as 8yrs ago when I first discovered the place. Missed the good old days of Hello Bangkok, Bar berry, Paragon, kiss me etc. The working girls then were much prettier and provided good services at much lower price than now. rm300 then vs rm800 onwards now for average looking coyotes.

Places like First Club and M Club can suck your wallet very dry in record time, so newbies better becareful. High chance that you will sleep alone as well unless you are super rich and/or look like brad pitt. My friend paid his gal rm800 thinking that it was for overnight but the gal sneaked away at 2am while we were still at KPK. Wasting money is one thing but the mood was completely down after that. Worse...shoot spider in hotel room alone can be quite torturing in Danok. Ok to go for a drink to enjoy the shows and kill time (which can get boring becos always the same few acts) but be thick-skinned to reject hungry vultures swirling around your table. Heard that the business in Danok is not so good recently and vultures will eat you up alive.

My recent trip to Danok few months back saw the place flooded with bus loads of PRC tourists. The lift lobby at Grand Oliver hotel was so packed that I had to climb up 15th floor after a night of heavy drinking, and not to mention the 10,000 uncomfortables stares I got for bringing a gal to my hotel room as if we were a pair of endangered panda. Swore that I won't be staying there again!

Itinerary for me nowadays will be to sing song at some KTV before heading to KPK. I'm quite picky on the looks of the gal so I need to drink heavily before I can select a gal as the standard in danok is so-so (getting worse in fact). A lot of Mian Dian gals nowdays, mostly short and kampong looking, not my type. The better looking ones are kept mistress and difficult to score unless all the wind all gam gam. But the selection process becomes easier inside the very dark KPK as we party the night away .

Even though my ratings for Danok is declining, it is still an unique cowboy town to party compared to Bangkok. I see that many old kings and princes of Danok have abandoned this place over the years and I may do so one day if it becomes as family-oriented as Hatyai (hope not so soon). Anyway, will be heading there soon and looking forward to meet some old cheongster friends who share the same Danok memories as me. Wish us best of luck!

Heard a lot about danok so finally decided to visit the wildly renown so-called men paradise. Oscar Palace Hotel was the one that prominently "highlight" in many sites and discussion. So that for the time being was my distination. What a big colossal mistake!
Don't believe the saying "this is Man paradise" you cannot get what u want even if u are willing to pay. Be careful this is not malaysia or sing, customers don't come first scheming u IS! The Malaysian PAPA san claimed alot but cannot deliver. The massage palor was a sham(3rd floor). I thought this place is as good as hatyai, I was dead wrong. Was asking for extra beside the routine "I jerk you off, HAPPY!". Most willing to pay "NOOO!" Well I didn't encounter this in Hatyai! The palor is a front for Lady-of-the-night service. In the web site agoda she claimed to have a bathtub (S$24), not true! Prompting you to book fast running out. Not true! I was there. It was quiet! With the price range of 690B (S$24 - 30) to 800 there are many which offer much better.
2. Siam Thana Hotel
790B 100 more expensive than the above. Worth every single bath. The facade ambient is absolutely fantastic. Bathtube in the bathroom, sliding window beside the tub. Can watch tv from there. Can't seem to be able to book from agoda or any site. Walk-in. Wanted to change room and extend another day, rooms all booked. I was in the restaurat for breakfast it was 人山人海! Have HBO, english channels.
3. Queen Park Hotel
have all the facilities of the above Siam except no ambient, barely decorated.
Since I was leaving at 7pm they charged me 700B. Not cheap if possible Siam still the best.
4. Oscar Palace Hotel
NOOOOOOOO! DO NOT GO THERE!! PRICE THE SAME AS THE ABOVE. sERVICE BAD. A FRONT FOR SCRAMS ARTIST, CONMEN! PLEASE DO NOT GO!!
