Barcelona 3 - 0 Brest : Lewandowski passes Champions League 100 goal mark

Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski scored twice as the hosts cruised to a 3-0 win over French side Brest on Tuesday, with the Polish striker joining Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the only players to pass the 100 goals mark in the competition.
Dani Olmo was also on the scoresheet with a fine individual goal after dribbling past two defenders and firing home.

The victory lifted Barca to second in the 36-team table on 12 points from five games, one point behind Inter Milan and level with third-placed Liverpool, who host Real Madrid on Wednesday.

Barcelona 1 - 2 Las Palmas : Barca suffer loss to Las Palmas on their 125th anniversary

LaLiga leaders Barcelona's 125th anniversary celebrations were spoiled by Las Palmas who claimed a shock 2-1 victory on Saturday after Fábio Silva scored the winner to extend the hosts' winless league run to three games.

In a game dominated by Barça, who had 70% of possession and peppered the goal with almost 30 shots, it was Las Palmas who made their few chances count to claim a famous triumph.

Barça remain on 34 points and lead second placed Real Madrid by four but their rivals now have two games in hand, while the victory moved Las Palmas up to 14th place on 15 points.

Las Palmas struck the opening goal early in the second half when a sublime passing move that started with goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen finished when another former Barça player Sandro Ramirez scored from the edge of the box.

However, second half substitutions, including the introduction of newly crowned Golden Boy Lamine Yamal, helped Barça dominate and they equalised just after the hour when Pedri found Raphinha in a pocket of space near the edge of the box.

Las Palmas were not deterred, though, and took the lead once more when Wolverhampton Wanderers loanee Silva broke through the offside trap to latch onto a pass from Javi Muñoz and beat keeper Iñaki Peña.

Mallorca 1 - 5 Barcelona : Raphinha double guides Barcelona to rout

Barcelona captain Raphinha scored twice as they returned to winning ways in LaLiga for the first time in a month with a 5-1 victory at Mallorca on Tuesday, with the visitors netting four times in the second half.

Barca manager Hansi Flick decided to rest LaLiga top-scorer Robert Lewandowski, who started all 20 previous matches in all competitions, while Lamine Yamal returned to the starting team after almost a month out with an ankle injury.

Barca took an early lead with Ferran Torres scoring following a comical mistake by the hosts' defence in the 12th minute. Johan Mojica fired an attempted clearance against a teammate, with the ball finding Torres, who was perfectly placed to strike home under the goalkeeper's legs.

Barca created a few chances in a slow-paced first half and Mallorca striker Vedat Muriqi levelled the scoring from a quick counter attack just before the break.

Yet Barca came out flying in the second-half and Raphinha, who almost scored from a free kick minutes earlier, restored their lead from the penalty spot in the 56th minute after Lamine Yamal was fouled inside the box.

Yamal crossed to Raphinha to extend Barca's lead with a tap-in in the 74th minute and substitutes Frenkie De Jong and Pau Víctor added to the goal-feast with late strikes from inside the box to wrap up an easy win.

Real Betis 2 - 2 Barcelona : Barcelona draw at Real Betis after conceding late equaliser

LaLiga leaders Barcelona had to settle for a 2-2 draw at mid-table Real Betis after substitute Assane Diao scored a stoppage-time equaliser on Saturday to give Manuel Pellegrini cause to celebrate in his 500th LaLiga game as a manager.

Barca opened the scoring in the 39th minute through a flowing move orchestrated by Lamine Yamal and neatly finished by Robert Lewandowski for his 16th league goal of the season.

Betis showed more intent and the hosts' pressure was rewarded with a penalty in the 68th minute.

Frenkie De Jong clattered into Barca loanee Vitor Roque and the spot kick was given after a VAR review, with visiting coach Hansi Flick being sent off for his vociferous protests.

Giovani Lo Celso stepped up to convert and level the match, but Barcelona regained the lead in the 82nd minute as Yamal's brilliance once again shone through, with his well-disguised through ball finding its way to Ferran Torres who scored.

However, there was one final twist in a thrilling contest, and Pellegrini's substitutions paid dividends as two of them combined for the equaliser, with Aitor Ruibal's dangerous cross flicked into the net by Diao with a cheeky backheel.

Borussia Dortmund 2 - 3 Barcelona : Torres strikes twice as Barcelona snatch late win at Dortmund

Substitute Ferran Torres scored twice including an 85th-minute winner as Barcelona earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory at Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on Wednesday to move to the brink of qualification.

In a pulsating five-goal second half, Torres struck twice in 10 minutes after coming on in the 71st minute to lift Barcelona to 15 points in second place with two games remaining in the league phase.

Dortmund twice came from a goal down with Serhou Guirassy scoring both their goals but they could not do it a third time after Torres's goal from a Lamine Yamal pass.

Raphinha had put Barcelona in the driving seat in the 53rd minute, latching on to a superb Dani Olmo pass to finish off a quick move with his sixth goal of the competition.

Barcelona 0 - 1 Leganés : Barcelona suffer shock loss to Leganés

LaLiga leaders Barcelona lost 1-0 to Leganés on Sunday with defender Sergio González's early header enough to stun the wasteful hosts who lost their second consecutive league game in front of their own fans.

While they have been excellent in the Champions League with five wins in six games, Barcelona have struggled in LaLiga for over a month, with only one victory in their last six league matches.

Leganés took the lead from a corner after four minutes when visiting captain Gonzalez rose unmarked at the near post to fire an unstoppable header past goalkeeper Iñaki Peña.
