Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Good point in the circumstances.
Robertson is done, we need a new LB ASAP. So good to see Jota back, I wouldn't fancy any of the other striker options to do what he did there. Genuinely becoming less and less arsed about Trent leaving now, his laziness on the pitch is ridiculous. Referee was an absolute disgrace last night. Again! 2 possible Fulham red cards and the most blatant penalty you'll ever see just not given because he didn't actually mean to foul him hahahaha Unreal! |

Andy Robertson challenge didn't look like Red Card but then his control was very poor and slow ro react. I agree we need new LB. We could have won after drawing level at 2-2 in the last few minutes but not our day. Dropped 4 points in 2 games.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Chelsea is currently going through a purple patch.
They are title contenders. We need to really go on a run now. Next three are all winnable games with teams who are struggling for consistency & form. Get to Xmas top of the tree & face United in the New Year with a gap & we will have momentum behind us. Only thing that can stop us is ourselves or an injury crisis. City are blown & Arsenal are turgid. We can take the momentum away from Chelsea by winning games. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
After the last few games I really want to see a team of kids on Wednesday night and I’ll not be disappointed if we go out.
Two xtra games in jan/feb is not what we need. Focus on the two big comps, we don’t have the squad to challenge on all fronts, we’ve been here before. BUT unfortunately, i doubt Slot will see it that way |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Carragher tells Slot to ignore what 'every Liverpool fan is not bothered' about this season
Liverpool have had a great start to the season but recent weeks have shown some flaws in our nearly unblemished performances that came before and Jamie Carragher has shared a message. Speaking on ‘The Overlap’, the Scouser said: “The title feels so important for Liverpool this season and you almost want to really explain that to the manager. “That’s what I fell like, I feel like I want to just get hold of him and say, ‘Listen, forget that FA Cup lark and the Carabao Cup.’ “I just think, honestly I can assure you, every Liverpool fan is not bothered about them this season. “You’re in a position where you’ve got a decent lead, it looks like City are not going to be involved, you fancy you can take on Arsenal or Chelsea – that’s the feeling with the fanbase.” This isn’t the first time that the 46-year-old has shared this opinion and he’s certainly doubling down on these words once again here. With tonight bringing with it a quarter final of the Carabao Cup in the midst of a busy December for an injury hit team, we will see how seriously Arne Slot adheres to this advice. Arne Slot will want to win every trophy on offer to him this season Arne Slot thanks Liverpool fans on the Kop (Photo by Alex Livesey/Getty Images) We have seen in the past that the Reds have enough experience on competing on all fronts but the fact that we’ve come short in our attempts for multiple glories in the past, perhaps it’s not the best idea to try this again. With the Sky pundit also citing that Chelsea don’t have a strong enough defence to win the league, it seems that confidence is high from him that we can go on to win the ultimate prize. Winning silverware is what this club is built on but the Premier League would again likely be the one reward we would want most want to see Virgil van Dijk lift above his head this season.

Given that Chelsea is our biggest competitor now, i thought i share this piece of news with you guys. The other Chelsea players may be under greater scrutiny as a result.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Seems like we're just destined to never ever lose a game in this EPL Carabao Cup competition regardless of what side we put out or who we play against
Have to say I enjoyed watching the highlights for what it was worth.... Endo MOTM for me. He was everywhere. Even was out jumping players taller than him to head the ball away. Warrior Chiesa and Elliott: To a different extent, both very encouraging, and good to have them fit. They can offer a lot for us in the last third in whatever position. Morton: Really good versatile performance. Slot has done little wrong, but Morton is a really good player and really should've been more of an option. But again Slot doesn't wanna rotate too much. But this is a very good player who's still only 22. Hopefully see more of Danns from now on too. Thought Slot played it perfectly...45 mins for Trent & Gomez, 60 mins for Mac & Gakpo, a bit more game time in the legs for Jota and Timikas getting back. Also loved his post-match too where he made it clear that he wasn't impressed with the 2nd half...another manager would pass it off talking about all the changes, players out of position, hadn't played together before etc etc but Slot was more concerned about the sloppiness and losing duels regardless of who was on the pitch...I love that attitude Best bit for me though was that Ali, Virgil, Gravenberch, Lucho, Szobs and Mo were all at home with their feet up |

Spurs is a very unpredictable side defensively. They will surely score but when their defence concedes, they leak goals
