Since DH is your good friend, you should do something to stop thsi affair bet HW & IVS before DH found out, all hell will break lose if he finds out.
They are many suggextion from above, my take is let IVs and Hw know that somebody is watching but not letting them know that you are the one warning them.

IS it a better way to confront IVS? without letting ur friend and his wife knowing. But one gone another will come, never ending story. So maybe its better to let your friend know rather then covering it up.Worst case is he will be bringing up IVS son without knowing, or the wife will leave him also if things get out of hand. For me i rather let my good friend breaking the news to me rather then some relative of mine. If hes sensible he will thank you for it for saving his time and $$.

Oh my goodness, there is a terrible ethical dilemma here for you, TS. I mean, I do not doubt that you would risk your marriage and kids by having an affair, but as the proprietor of your own company, ethically speaking you shouldn't be spying on your employees, BUT these two jokers are being unfaithful to their spouses the moment they chat about it lest the actual actions itself.

The old saying goes, two wrongs do not make a right. But I am still curious to find out how you (or they) plan to stop this fiasco and return to normalcy.

One way of course is for you to nitpick on either party (preferably IVS) and then one fine day inform him that his performances have been below par and you no longer need him in the company. This (IMO) would be a subtle way of stopping someone else's marriage from breaking up.

Another way, is to casually chat with HW about her kids, her husband, whether she plans to have any more kids, etc etc. Draw similarities between your kids and hers, i.e. "eh, my kids also love to greet me at the door when I come home from work!" and deep inside she will feel more guilty about her chat trysts than ever.

I hope to see the story end well for both parties...

Bro TS, you can always expose HW and IVS or IVS alone without telling them abt your spy program. You know all their stuff and their whereabouts! Just say you saw something and then since DH is a good friend of yours you hired a PI to track them and know what they did in hotels. Simple as that.

The alternative, blow the thing in to IVS' wife secretly. That will put great heat on IVS that he himself will probably stop his tryst. TS, I seldom post here but I want to tell you that if you and DH are friend then I think you must do something. I know that the truth hurt but a true friend will reveal the truth. Secondly, if this get out of hand, HW, DH, IVS & IVS wife all will suffer especially IVS wife and DH who will get the hardest impact.

There a saying "The knife is not stabbed on you, you will never understand the pain". If you are doing something then I would suggest you to put pressure on IVS alone so that he will get panic and stop what he doing. Is it too late to simply deny the leave application on Wed? Maybe make up some excuse and in so doing, buy some time. If HW goes to the house on Wed, I'd say it's over.
