If they want to go then let them go lah..... no point keeping them here if their heart and desire to play for Liverpool is not there. Give players like Andy Carroll who rather stay and fight for his place the opportunity instead. We need fighters and players with character at this time and not prima donnas.

I agree with what you said.
Same as what Man U did with Cristiano Ronaldo back in 2008.
But so far I don't think Agger has shown that he doesn't want to stay at the club. When Torres left for Chelsea in last year's January transfer window, he said that was a lack of respect for the club and he'll never leave Liverpool for another English club. Hopefully, he'll never leave Liverpool at all.

Agreed. If this season there are no great expectations from the owners, then why not take the chance to let the youngsters have an extended run in the first team?
Stop spending 20m on unproven players, give this crop of youngsters a chance, its one of the most promising crop in recent times...

Suarez's pay trebled to $105,000 pounds weekly. I am very surprised he was previously earning $35,000 pounds weekly only. Thought his original pay package should be much higher than that.

He came from Ajax which plays in the Dutch league where there is a wage cap on players renumeration..... he probably dint realize he could have asked for the sky before he came to the BPL.

My guess was right. John Henry made a statement today that he does not have the money for Liverpool to buy players.... they have to sell to raise the cash.

But to even consider selling the naming rights of Anfield to raise funds is ridiculous!

BR will be using the money from the sale of Agger to bring in Diego Godin.
Looks like Andy Carroll is on the way out even though everyone is denying it.... BR talked about his forward line and attacking options as consisting of Borini, Suarez, Downing & Gerrard..... he made no mention of AC and declined to answer when a reporter asked about Andy.
