My heart relented, I can never treat Janice shabbily, no matter how she treats me. Sigh... I'm a soft hearted romantic guy.

Janice got to packing and folding some of my clothes, in her preferred way. I'm a guy, I know how to mess things up, but only she knows how to make rights neat and nice.

In about 15 minutes or so, everything was stuffed into the bags and we checked the hotel room once again.

We sat down on the bed's edge and Janice just leaned on my shoulder.

gog: Was that a question, or a statement?

Janice just quietly leaned there and placed her arms around mine hugging me close.

Just sat there quietly, didn't need to say much, was just hoping it won't end there, but as this story goes...

Met the group at the hall, checked out, had a group prayer for safety and we departed for the train station. A 5-6 hour train ride, going to be a long ride, likely will reach destination about near mid noon.

Got to our seats and sat down, guys helping the ladies to stack their bags above the chairs, and in the compartments. Sat down next to Janice who took the window seat, Lindi sat on the next row with Penny.

We were all excited, but soon, the long ride made us sleepy, those who could watch their movies/series on iPad resumed, some put on earphones and shuteye. Janice was no different, closed her eyes, reclined the chair and laid back.

Penny kept looking back towards me and fidgeted. Lindi was reading a book. Soon I also felt cramped in the compartment and stood up, walking to the middle of both connected train cabins. Stretch my legs and also arms as well.

Good Wednesday, had a good workout in the morning.

I've completed Day 8 and half way through Day 9, after that will commence on the ending.

Been a great time writing my memories (inflating and deflating some parts - but the gist is there).

I held her hand with the box and slowly pulled her next to me. Penny came over and stood next to me, feeling awkward while I held her hand. It was risky... if Janice caught me, that's it.

P: No.. it's expensive, I don't want to waste money on that, any way, he probably is busy at work also.

gog: Honestly, you want to give him a call? I can pay for you, at least you can talk a bit to him.

Penny just shook her head gently, declining my kind gesture.







gog: I'll come over tonight?

Penny just kept looking on the floor as if there's gold or money to be found with eyes open big and not sure how to answer. She's cute in that way. Didn't want to tease her.

We just chat about some casual stuff, her work, her studies, her family, etc. She asked about mine, just chatted away, think a good 45 minutes?

It was chill to pass time that way. Soon it was lunch, we did it the Singapore way.

1 pax brought 2 loaves of bread
1 pax brought canned hotdogs/luncheon meat
1 pax brought cheese (a bit mushy but usable)
1 pax brought mayo
I brought hardboiled eggs (a metal container with portable water boiler helps in Europe).
There were still other food brought (from SG) but I can't remember all. It was pretty scrumptious.

We made sandwiches while the entire cabin looked on, they must be thinking 'asians'. Food was simple and easy, no need to worry about tips, no need to over eat and all that rich food down our stomachs.

Simple was the keyword.

Europe food is usually rich, oily and also huge in quantity. What we're having is simple and easy but filling. Soon, people started 'passing out'. I got up again and walked to the washroom, Penny followed. The rest were contented with the lunch and happily dozing off. I'm scared of being fat, so walking a bit is good.

Happens both washrooms are occupied, so I decided to walk further.







P: Where are you going?

gog: Talking a walk to the other cabins' toilets, just ate any way, feeling full.

P: Can I...

gog: You wanna walk with me?

Penny nodded her head.









gog: Let's go.

We walked to the other end and Penny stood behind me.







gog: You want to go first?

P: No... you go first.

Eh... we're 2 trains away, this should be... SAFE, right?
