Re: Vietnam - HCM
Oh yes, and by the way, I want to visit and possibly play some casino games in HCM but I prefer those that are crowded. So which casino should I go. Someone introduce the following casinos to me , and they are at Caravelle hotel & Omni Saigon Hotel & Sheraton Hotel and Winsor Plaza HOTEL

I think its better to tell them Tan Binh SuperBowl. The taxis will know. If tell them `sem bai', they will take you to Airport direct |

With your budget, you can get new bikes bro. If you are not big sized, a normal SYM Attitla will be alright for you. There are also other choices like China Made Honda @ . But if you are big built, you may want to consider 2nd hand Yamaha Majesty. All these are below US$2.5k. Check them out. Next thing you have to make sure is that you have a bike license. If you have a class 2A in Singapore, you have to convert it to Vietnamese license. If you don't have bike license at all, you need to go for the highway code and practical test, but all these are done in Vietnamese language. If all these fail, ride at your own risk and avoid the police checks with the big vans.. because if the big vans are around, no bribe allowed and they will confiscate your bike if you are without proper license. |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
And don't believe what the vietnamese says about China Made bikes being lousy. I have seen many china made honda bikes on the roads, they are just as good, but at half the price. For them, anything from China is bad. Loser syptoms from the many boarder wars they had with China.

Re: Charlie's Angels Services - CNY
[QUOTE=SingViet]Bros who are coming to HCM City,
Please note that the Charlie's Angel's Services will rest for the Lunar New Year starting 18th Jan 2006 till 8th Feb 2006. Last order before CNY will be on the 17th Jan night. Services will resume to normal on 9th Feb 2006. It seems that your rest is longer than the Vietnamese unofficial / unofficial holiday! Thought of going for your angel before I go for a break before CNY. |

Your gf will know what are the types of police that you have stop. Normally a traffic police operation with 113 and a lorry means `no bribe' and if no license ... your motobike will be `up the lorry' |

Re: Vietnam - HCM
Out of curiousity, how can get back the bike if "up the lorry"?
