Those who don't do proper job, the relationship usually will not last. They are spoilt for choices.

My VB friend work very long hours everyday for 5 million a month.

even if the husband just earn $3k a month, its a huge figure when converted to VND. Think about it, almost 50 million VND a month, that's damm a huge figure for the normal vietnamese. They will expect the husband to give a lot to the wife to help their family in VN. What they failed to realise is that $3k is barely enough to survive in expensive Singapore.

That normal, a lot of VB scare to lose face (mat mat). That I hate most. Once, went to 1 of my frds VB village in An Giang. His VB tell all her relatives that my friends is earning $200 a day. My friend doesn't speak good tieng viet ask me what is going on and I tell him. End up both quarrels when back to Hotel. They afraid to mat mat. I don't know why.

S$5K per month consider average in Singapore le. I had numbers of friends earn abt S$3.5K; taking care of 1 wife and 2 kids. Some of them still can save some money each month. Imagine that.
