the rate late at night also usually not so good....maybe due to the fact not all money changers operate 24 hours so those who do 'charge premuim'

Just went to JB during lunch time. Rate was 229.60 the same as causeway woodlands.

Today, Singapore RM229.50 but across the causeway RM229. Usually JB exchange rates will be higher....hmm.

Don't mention it. From my experiences, the rate at Arcade is usually higher than in JB. I have done "experiment" before.

On the same day, within an hour difference where I travel from SG to JB, the rate at Arcade is about RM1 higher compared to JB for SGD100. That's why if you are changing quite a significant sum of Ringgit, or either if you are near to Arcade, the best deal is to exchange at Arcade then in JB.

Woodlands causeway do the malaysian factory workers business.....so rates are competitive to JB

Money Changer @ JB not everytime offer better rate than those in Spore.
FYI last Thurs 06/01/04 afternoon ard 1pm i changed in JB @ 229.60 later i met my friend he told me that he abt the same time changed at City Hall @230.00
