Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Thursday morning seems to be much brighter for the Reds!
Hope the Ochoa signing is for real! 1-3 win against Bournemouth, brace from Sterling and finally Markovic opens his scoring sheet for Liverpool! Did not catch the match but seems like quite an exciting one, both sides played quite well, but Reds defence still looking dodgy. I cannot understand what has happened to Lovren's form this season, a pale shadow and definitely not worth the 20m quid spent. Sakho came on for him in the 2nd half, so looks like Rodgers wants to send out a signal. Again no striker played unless you count Borini coming on in the 90th min! Very tough semi-final draw though, Chelsea!! Well lets see how that goes. Onwards and hopefully upwards against Arsenal on Sunday. Oh and just read Sturridge now in Boston, getting specialist treatment at Red Sox. Liverpool desperately need him back fully fit, sharp and raring to go asap. Quote:

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool could have done better despite the win as Rodgers fielded a strong squad.
It was a surprise to watch Markovic being the creative spark instead of Coutinho. Feels good. Liverpool will face Chelsea in the Capital One Cup semi-finals. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Yes Markovic is finally showing some of his true potential. His link up play , his creativity ; his movement brings an extra breath of fresh air to the team. This game will definitely give him a big boost. Glad that he scored his first goal for Liverpool. Finally RS manages to score 2 goals. He could have scored at least a hatrick. But overall the movement upfront was much better. If you have noticed Liverpool win games when Balotelli was not laying. On the end Lovren was still very shaky. When ever he gets the ball he does not seemed to know what to do with it. Always you need someone to cover Lovren. Heard he sustained a groin injury before half time. Sahko came in and he did much better than Lovren. He is not so clumsy as before. He linked very well with Markovic on that left flank. Lallana also appeared to be getting much better upfront. All these goes well for the team. Looks like BR is planning to stick with 3-4-3 . At last managed to see Borini on the team.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
There was once a legendary scout at Anfield who went by the name of Geoff Twentyman. This chap discovered the likes of Rush, Hansen, Neal etc.
There is a book on this Anfield boot room legend titled Secret Diary Of A Liverpool Scout. How I wish the Reds would now have someone of Twentyman's calibre and keen fine eye. |

Mario Balotelli has been banned for one match and fined £25,000 following his controversial post on Instagram.

Ironically we might hv done better if we had signed Remy or Eto. At least on the disciplinary front we should be quite safe. I think matter of time b4 Mario gets his first RED. Wanna bet???

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Liverpool paid out £14.3m in agents' fees for the transfers of these 4 players - Balotelli, Origi, Markovic & Lovren. No wonder every agent wants to link their players with Liverpool...... cash cow for them.
