The next day, I was playing basketball in the morning. And I noticed Gloria sitting on the sides watching me, She bought drinks for me and sit quietly watching my game. But when she needed to report to the prefect's room, she stood and called out to me.

Gloria: Lao gong, I go prefect room already.

Everyone at the court looked around for who she was calling out to, I walked towards her and asked her to go. That moment I really felt embarrassed by her actions, and of course my basketball mates started teasing me.

The next few days, What seem bad for me could only get worst. As whenever Gloria was not around and I was with Ah Kai And WeiQi, WeiQi would use me to spite Ah Kai and on one day, I really cannot take it anymore and asked WeiQi for a talk. We went to the back of the school, and sat on the pavement.

Me: WeiQi, why are you using me to spite Ah Kai?

WeiQi: No, I never ah.

Me: Eh, don't bluff lah, blind man also can see.

WeiQi starts tearing: He also no response one.

WeiQi leans on my shoulder and cries: I.... I really like him a lot.

WeiQi kept crying and I did feel abit sad for her, she went in and told me she really love Ah Kai a lot and gave him her all, she never questioned him even when he don't have time for her. Her words let me think about how I am treating Gloria, I know that I am a jerk and a bastard, but there is no way I am giving up on my girls because of Gloria.

Even after that talk WeiQi did not give up and that week, she carried in trying to spite Ah Kai when ever she had the chance. There were changes in Gloria, and I don't mean minor ones. She became more receptive to sex, and she starts initiating at times. Her reason when I asked about the change in her? It was because she knew I liked it.

School became a torture to me, and meeting the girls after school was not much of a salvation for me. I remembered it was a Friday, and we went over to Jasmine and Ann's place for our tutoring session that Ann spoke to me.

Ann: Lawrence, is the matter settled?

I looked at Ann and I did not reply, I guess I was guilty and I really did not want to lie to her.

Ann: Lawrence, can you tell me what happen?

Me: Can you promise not to tell Jasmine and Felicia?

Ann smiled and nodded: I promise.

Me: Ann, I am sorry, I have another GF in school, but I am really trying to break up with her.

Ann got up and I thought she was going to slap me or what but she went to the door and closed it.

Ann: Lawrence, just settle it soon.

Me: I will try, but I think she won't let go that easily.

Ann gave me a weird look: Did you do anything with her?

In this situation, What will you think my answer will be? Of course is deny lah.

Me: No lah, just I think I am her first love, so she won't let go so easily.

Ann: I understand how she feel, but Lawrence the longer you drag the harder it is for her to let go.

Me: I will settle it.

I looked at Ann and she did not speak another word, she had a calm but yet serious look. She was thinking hard about something, and I had that fear at that moment. The fear that she was planning to let me go.

It was unexpected, there was no response from Gloria. I waited for another 30mins and there was still nothing from her, could it be she realized I was not suitable for her? Wait long long ah. That night was peaceful as she had gone to bed early, the next morning I virtually woke up in hell.

My pager was beeping non stop, and my voicemail was full by the time I woke up. Yes this marks the return of the psycho Gloria, whom has taken things to another level.

Gloria voicemail 1: Why are you doing this to me, I did everything you said. (Crying)

Gloria voicemail 2: What did I do wrong? Can you tell me please?

Gloria voicemail 3: Call me, I just want to hear your voice.

There were a couple more messages, but the one I remembered most clearly was this.

Gloria voicemail xx: Call me in 30mins, if not I am sure you will regret it, I will kill myself......

Faced with a message like that, there was nothing I could do but page her. But before I could do that, my home phone rang.

Me: Hello?

Gloria crying: You are awake and you don't reply me........ Why must you do this to me?
