Confessing to her is a bad idea, a very bad one. You are basically transferring your guilt to her in a way. You'll have a load off your chest but she'll be left wondering if it was her, if this is a one off, if there is more she does not know etc etc.

Although I'm not certain if it applies to all bros but I felt the same, many years ago when I took a FL into my hotel room. With time and more experiences, the sense of guilt wanes off.

As to your question, I'll just put this quite simply across. If you were in your GF position and she had someone fingered her, would it go down well if she confessed?
