another win,surely now the title must be already in the bag.
i watched the first half,they had so many chance,should have been 4 to 5 goals up if not for the splendid saves by Getafe's goalkeeper.

Barcelona moved nine points clear at the the Primera Division summit - for a couple of hours at least - with a narrow but richly-deserved 1-0 victory at Getafe.

Pep Guardiola's team dominated the first half but had only one Lionel Messi goal to show for their toils due to the outstanding performance of on-loan goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic.

The second half was not quite so one-sided but Getafe did not have the cutting edge to trouble Victor Valdes and in truth Barca should have extended their advantage at a rainy Estadio Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

Messi had a second effort incorrectly ruled out for offside and Samuel Eto'o struck the post, but the one goal proved enough in the end.

Barcelona 4 - 0 Sevilla FC: Convincing win

Barcelona moved six points clear of Real Madrid at the top of the Primera Division with just six games remaining following a stunning 4-0 win at home to third-placed Sevilla.

They took control of this game after just two minutes when Andres Iniesta lobbed Javi Varas with a superb dipping effort from outside the box.

Samuel Eto'o made it two after 16 minutes and Barca moved out of sight in the second half with strikes from Xavi and Thierry Henry.

Valencia 2-2 Barcelona: Henry leaves it late

A late equaliser from substitute Thierry Henry ensured Barcelona snatched a point in a 2-2 against Valencia on a dramatic night at the Mestalla.

Two goals in as many minutes from Hedwiges Maduro and Pablo Hernandez at the end of the first half turned the match on its head after Lionel Messi had given the league leaders the advantage in the 24th minute.

It seemed as if Los Che were about to pull off a shock result which could have thrown the title race wide open but Henry equalised four minutes from time.

Chelsea's defensive discipline earned them a precious goalless draw against Barcelona to make them slight favourites to reach their second successive Champions League final.

Hiddink's tactic of giving holding roles to both John Obi Mikel and Michael Ballack worked superbly and Lionel Messi was marked out of the contest by Jose Bosingwa.

Hiddink will be more than pleased with the night's work and Chelsea should have enough in their artillery to go on and finish the job in the return match next week.
