Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
3 points and a clean sheet, we needed that
Midifeld looked far better than against Arsenal on Thursday night and the whole team improved as the game went on. Still showing some lethargy at times though, some sloppy passing and defending, slow to get going but once we got that first goal we looked much more composed and started to play better. Improved on Thursday night's game, only a pity Kaide Gordon didnt finish off that chance near the end of the game. Also hope the Ox is okay. Back up to 2nd, 2 points ahead of Chelsea now with a game in hand also, that's nice. Overall a decent result all things considered. If we can string a few wins together in the league in the next few weeks and pretty much guarantee top 3 then we really could go hard in the 3 cups this year and maybe rotate for league games a little later down the line. We've never had that luxury before. Massive game this Thursday. |

HI, Bros, what I respect about players like Mane and Kante.
They do not drive flashy cars and show off their money. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Mcki...8774053778983/

The squad needs to be refreshed in the summer.
When Fabinho and Tiago is out the team loses DM work and creativity.

I strongly agree but we have no money. Our money is spent on stadium expansion for now. Sigh. FSG may be tempted to repeat a Coutinho. Sell off our best player (Salah) and used to funds to be the next VVD and Allison.
Coutinho is flying in Aston Villa. 1 goal and 1 assist in 20 minutes of game time. He is 29 now... which made me wonder how old Sterling is now. That Brendan Rodgers side is really ancient history. No chance of seeing Rafa versus Gerrard now. A. Villa is Everton's next opponent. Jacob Ramsey may be a future Liverpool player. Watch out for him

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Absolutely right.
This cycle is coming to an end. Biggest disappointment is that we have not won more PLs with this really good team which unfortunately is only because of Pep/City Surprisingly our best MF this season has been Fabinho, Thiago and Elliott. Real pity we have not been able to field this MF in the majority of our PL matches because with this set together with the top form of Matip at the back and Salah in attack I dare say we would be mounting a serious challenge against City for the PL instead of being 11 points behind. A real shame and very frustrating. Back to the rebuild issue, this summer will be crunch time whether we can continue to be serious contenders for the PL and consequently the CL or will be going into decline and merely challenging for a top 4 spot and the odd British cup instead. Everything rests on FSG. Time is also fast running out because a lot of our recent success has been down to Klopp and he probably may leave after his present contract comes to an end which adds on to the imminent uncertainty. Finally there is even a possibility that FSG may sell up and take the big profits once Klopp leaves. Remember FSG bought Liverpool for around £300m and now it seems like we are valued at around US$3-4B. Don't rule this out. More uncertainty ahead |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Ex Liverpool long time ceo Peter Robinson passed away yesterday.
This chap is a true Liverpool legend who worked closely with all the boot room greats from Shanks, Paisley, Fagan to King Kenny. He helped to sign all our greats like Clemence, Keegan, Souness, Barnes, Rush and even King Kenny himself. RIP Peter Robinson |
