Very true....for our taste lah..... But the Thai will swear that their mongtong is the best in the world.

To me for the the Thai duriam their Kanyao suit us most.- the best. But the Thai claim that it's too strong and creamy which we like best.

seriously, Thai Mongtong taste real good only in Australia..... dunno why? Maybe the long journey, make them ferment at to the best, and the scarcity make it taste best. And dam expensive......

Just found out ALL types of mangoes are not allowed to be imported into Malaysia...... anyone know the reason?

The ban is to protect the local mangoes from a type of harmful pest that is not found in Malaysia. Only mangoes with import permits and pest-free certificates can be imported.

Ha..The price of Thai grain is going to increase as promised by Inluck to her supporter, the farmer. According to my friend in the trade in SG, the price of grain is going to raise very soon. Do stock a bit more if your family consume more rice. Cheers.

I just came back from thailand, the rate is about 24.50 ~ 24.56.
Maybe can try the Money changer called Super rich FX, better rate than UOB.

Sorry bro, Im just a newbie.
From my experience, change some in sg first, enough for u to get a cab or bus down town in BKK. When in BKK, change more cos rates are better. I would prefer UOB or Super rich FX money changer.

so far rate is always better in sg for my past trips
