Without WP - Still can but account not allowed to deposit cash, no atm card, no cash withdrawal...only allow to do remittance in and out...

My acct can tt in/ out, Atm, Withdraw, trf to local. Except recieve local dong trf, even I deposit dong cash also cannot.

I think they just wana restrict out going. Thts why cant deposit dong locally.

Anyway regardless of personal or business the TT fees still apply so just stating as a matter of fact as I do not really knows what our "lanpa bro" is engaging in Wetnam

Last time when I was working in Wetnam I will never ever mix any of my personal banking accts with business related transactions/accts, which in fact I insisted on separate accounts, which IMHO would be wiser so as not to be caught with allegations of money mules or laundering since the amounts will tends to be much bigger when it comes to business, the only exception may be with businessmen themselves that are running their own businesses but it is still good proper governance to have separate accounts for easy financial accountability

I concur but I would apply it on a much wider scale as everything we know now tends to be obsolete later, whether it was 10 years ago or only yesterday as events nowadays are very dynamic & ever-changing, thats why sometimes I find it somewhat amusing to see forummners arguing whom is right or wrong about cheong jionts or charges...ETC

Thats the reason I always tell everybody; I am a reborn newbie everyday, as it keeps me humble so others will be more prone to sharing "interesting" info with me....kekekekeke......

There were quite a number of times posted previously in the old HCM threads that some cheongsters wanted to save costs and stayed in those ulu ulu districts, but specially took taxi all the way to Ben Thanh just becos the rates there are slightly better factor in the taxi costs already cost more than the so-called better rates liao unless they already wanted to tour around D1 at the same time but then this negates their original intentions to save costs by staying out of D1
