Re: Pattaya

Last round i went took that 97bht van very hot man. Regret buying extra seat, thought can buy extra seat for luggage. In the end they simply throw my luggage with the rest, and have wait for van to full before move off.
journey about 2hr plus, abt 30min to reaching van stop at gas station to top up and toilet break.

anyway they allow to drop off anywhere??? I thought was fix route. I drop off at near soi 15 quite near to my hotel..
over all good experience...

Yes its fairly cramped for a big sized guy...for it being hot you jus unlucky I guess.Yes also they wait for van to fill up but it normally jus takes a short time. But for a relatively short journey its worth the savings.

Take BTS to Ekkamai , walk down the station to the bus station , less than 200m. Take the Pattaya bus for 124B ; leaves every 30-40 mins. Reach Pattaya bus station and take a baht bus to beach road for 20B. I think 20B but its written on the black board there and everyone pays the same ; falang , Asian or thai.

If you know where u are going , take a motosai for under 100B to bring you to the hotel door step.

I usually take bell transport from Bangkok hotel to Pattaya hotel. Sleep all the way...........

I prefer to board the 97B van from Victory Monument..... it goes straight onto the highway and they leave on the dot regardless of whether the van is full onot.
....... and they drop me off at my hotel doorstep too.

After a nite drinking at Soi Cowboy or Nana and then crawling to my Suk hotel .............. best is if the station is only a few stops away in the morning!

The vans are supposed to be airconed..... your van aircon broke down?
They have 3 designated stops in Pattaya but the driver does not follow it..... he goes to where the passengers wants to drop off (of course must be within reasonable distance inside Pattaya).

Re: Pattaya

If u are coming from Swampy to Patts direct then take Bell Service. Book tickets on line at their website. After u reach Patts they will transfer u to a mini van to your hotel. Last bus leaves Swampy at 9pm. They have no more service from Don Muang. Good luck & Good fuck!

Both of you r correct..

Bell service last bus 1800 hrs w transfer to Hotel.

At same counter is the Pattaya Airport bus which looks similarly blue but only have stops at Sukhumvit Rd ( NORTH..CENTRAL AND SOUTH ) and last stop at Jomtien. This bus normally last bus at 9 pm..if you lucky they have a 10 pm bus.

The 2 service r not the same...the one going to Jomtien is actually govt bus service No. 389 or something like that...555
