Intend to visit HCM in early April. Any recommendation for any budget hotel and what is their rate?

There are many budget hotels along Pham Ngu Lao...pse read thru the thread, i believe many Bros (e.g. ChinaBoy) have posted info on them.

Hope you guys enjoyed the night out, I guess we have'nt even scratched the surface of cheong places in HCMC. I am presently back in Singapore on "Urgent" business and should be back in HCMC on the 3/4/2005. Meanwhile Bro. Singviet, promise to show you some exciting place in the afternoons. Have you been to the local Beer Oms which start as early as 1100 hrs.

i just finished my dinner with some biz contacts at a jap restaurant along hai ba trung. walked past those sleazy joints. all dark windows....a bit worried go in cannot come out leh unless pay US$1K bill.

those guys not into bars, so they went back to hotel while i am checking this forum at a cybercafe.

Singviet: it's ok. understand u are shagged out from ur provincial trip. i should be back in HCM soon (in a month's time). will catch up then.

probably will go club 259 to have a look later

Been into a few of those places in Hai Ba Thrung a couple of times ... its not a bad place to go to especially if you have a friend or two with you. They have a pool table that you can play with your friends and these girls. Only thing is that you have to buy the girl some drink (that's how they earn their pay I guess) and some will drink like fish but if you find one that you like what's a few dollars of drinks in exchange for company..... and a grope or two If you like them enough you can always take them out or arrange to meet them the next day at your hotel .....
