My friend went for a massage and came home with slipper from the massage parlour instead of his new shoe.

The next morning, still not realizing what had happened, he asked his wife about his missing shoe, and the strange slipper outside their doorstep.

Of course the whole family have no clues and the only sensible explanation was someone has broken into their house, even though there was no other signs that someone has entered their house.

It takes my friend few days to figure out what had happened and of course have to forget about his new shoe even though he knows where he possibly can claim it back.

Hopefully this qualified as SibueyJialat incident :-)

Almost everything in Singapore is expensive – cars, food, housing – you name it.

We see Singaporeans rant about it on social media all the time, but nobody has summed it up as perfectly as local rapper Fizzy Pop in his catchy debut single “Save Money”.

“I can’t afford a car, so I take taxi. Peak hour charge still kena ERP.”

You were nodding with approval to that line, right?

Well, you’ll find yourself nodding through the 3-minute music video, which features the 29-year-old rapper dressed as a waiter, “summons auntie” and even a white-suited “gahmen” member, among others, while summing up all of an average Singaporean’s daily financial ordeal.

When asked about his inspiration behind the song, Fizzy Pop – whose real name is Muhammad Fadzri – feels that “saving money [in Singapore] is more real than making money”.

He also hopes that the video will “speak on the woes of a Singaporean when it’s close to the end of the month, and they're waiting on their salaries”.

The video was released on YouTube on 18 November. It includes appearances by other local talents such as rapper Shigga Shay and musician Sandra Riley Tang from pop band The Sam Willows.

Fadzri is also a well-known stand-up comedian in Singapore under a separate moniker, Fakkah Fuzz, and he has been making Singaporeans laugh at various clubs and pubs for the past five years.

After coming second in Malaysian television comedy competition Super Spontan Upsize in September, he is now ready to venture into other passions – with music being one of them.

According to his lyrics, he has had thoughts of becoming a gangster, but “you can’t spell gangster without GST”.
