It's for bro/sis who stay nearby or happen to be nearby.

U get the most 10-15baht per SGD100 more than those shopping area.

Same as me, i usually keep ard 2-3k for my next trip for the same reason....

And some 10 bahts coins to take BTS. Sometimes the queue for coin exchange can be very long during peak hrs.

Got both BTS and MRT SmartPass as well They are good for five years, and you can top off when the balance is low. No need to queue for coin or fare when you are trying to get to your next bonking appointment along Sukhumvit or Ratchada

Agree on that, didn't know it's for five years. Cause behind the card wrote two year valid after last use.

I m aware of this. But i only take 1-2 trips during my stay, as my thai friend usually drive me around.

By the way, they discontinued the smartpass. Now it's known as the rabbit card.

50Baht( normal 150Baht) deposit for the rabbit card promotion till end 31 March.
value valid for 2 years from last transaction date.

Just For ur info. Any one using credit card in Bkk, Pls make sure they do not convert ur THB to Sin currency, supper low rate, I was lucky to detected early, insisted to paid in THB. I changed THB 24.8 in Sin. Signed credit card rate 23.6 during my last two weeks in BKK.
