Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
some questions to casannova03, when your close friends especially family and relatives question you about this, how did you explain to them? did you tell them the truth?

Maybe initially yes but after a while, when they see that you are happy you think they will keep probing you? I think they have better things to do than keep asking you on how u know your wife right?

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
i just read the whole thread and congrats to you bro. i hope i can have the same thing as you in the years to come..
i am not married yet.. so my story would have to be saved some other time. the things i have gone through are roughly the same as TS had experienced during the 1st year.. however my family was abit kinder.. but really in the end you dun really care abt the others if you are set on marrying. i think white lies and half truths are a necessary evil in this kind of relationships. it hurts you and your gf/wife if you have to cope with nonsense from your friends, family, even distant relatives. its better to not have all those stress and concentrate on building your family/relationship.. now for those of you wanting to get a vietnamese girl as your gf, do take note of the lessons outline by TS in his story. those are very very true. and not every viet girl you meet wants to scam your money away.. like TS in the first year of the relationship, i am currently in a very bad situation, and from the first day she knew me.. she has never taken a single cent from me. there's a whole lot of background story here.... but i think i am still not comfortable in sharing it all. this post was to really say things that i have pent up this year and i cannot find anybody to relate. maybe when things are finally on track and i have put this all behind me like TS had, i can share my story.. |

Let's just say that there are sme "blind spots" that I missed out and it has been an unpleasant experience. Different ppl have different ways to doing things and it just turn out that what some bros expect is not quite what I expect....so I have resorted to recommending only form my own grp of friends now. ***Since I am now on this topic, I would like to apologise to "the person" (U know who u are). I did not meant for things to turn out this way. If anything, I personally find u a nice chap and have tried to helped u all along as u can see in our e-mail. I felt u could have handled the various issues with more restraint and it would not have turned out that bad. But still, I feel bad for things turning out the way they are....Wish you all the best!

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
casannova03 bro.... see u happily married is great news to single bros....
anyway believe u had been told off stupid by some ppl when u married WL..... but hey WTF, a person should always be judged by their hearts n soul.... not their profession..... my frien once told me.... if u married a woman.... it doesn't matter that she is WL... but more importantly, u married a WL to be wife not the other way round.... from wat i understand..... When WL really falls in love with u... they will feel ashamed of their profession and will try to return to normal life..... almost immediately, WL will quit being one.... i really feel that some bros here have mistaken WLs, FLs... etc.... not all are bad.... this is the real world... just because ur profession is good means u are goood..... tats FUCK man....... there are some in SG working as lawyers or doctors doing wat.... LOAN SHARKS.... then do u suppose they are good man.... If u are stranded in a foreign country, cannot work... only can work in sex line to survive and eat.... will u do it or will u starve to death....... if everyone live a happy life, need not suffer... no one would wan to be WL or FL..... a ex-WL loving and caring to u will be better than any woman with so call good profession but use their body to get incentives.... these woman are down right cheap..... SOOO......... CHEAP........ worst than WL... the most fuck type word in the history of dictionry also cannot describe....... ad if such person is ur wife or GF... than i tink get rid of her fast fast...... for such marriages to WL.... i would say whoever in the fucking world dun have black marks.... done wrong tings...... if u fucking tink u are a good person.... than u are not human at all.... coz all human will make errors..... so i say again KUDOS to bro casannova03 u redeem her...... |

Re: Happily Married with an ex WL(VN)
Having read this thread:
http://sammyboy.online/matters...ls-advise.html I would like discuss my opinion on it but i thought its better to do it here in my own thread.... Whatever i am discussing is in no way directed at anybody in particular but a general discussion...you may or may not agree with me and i certainly encourage any comments hereon. In the perfect scenario, what every man wants is a life partner that is demure, understanding yet beautiful, sexy, intelligent and most importantly do our bidding. However, the reality is that such a formula do not often exists - I doubt they do. Business Analysis In recent years, the spotlight has been casted on the ease of availability of vietnamese spouses with the bloom of matchmaking agencies in Singapore. From the heydays of over $10k per bride to the now $5k-$6k, it shows just how intense competition in the industry must have been. Profit margins are being slashed like nobody's businness and what does this mean eventually? From the beginning, matchmaking of such nature are unlike what they are in our parent's or grandparent's era. Back in those days, regardless of social or wealth classes, matchmaking cases were made based on family status, the individuals health, birth-giving ability, reputation and/or mutual advantages in the marriage. In a way, they were focused on how the marriage between two parties could bring about advantages to both the familes involved. Matchmaking fees were often in the form of an ang pow and it depends on the ability and the status of the two families involved. Matchmakers prided themselves on finding the best match and their reputation were of the utmost importance as it means recommendations based on word-of-mouth which was the ultimate marketing in that era. Thus, they seldom matchmake for the sake of an ang pow. To cut it short, the two parties involved were seldom far off from each other in terms of upbringing, culture, langauge ability, social status and wealth status. Back to the present, what we are looking at now in Singapore is matchmaking of a different sort altogether. Firstly we are talking about something which is not only cross-borders but also cross-cultural. Throw in language differences, social upbringing, wealth status etc etc and what you get is a myriad of ingredients that is dark and murky like our dear "Rojak" - singapore style!!! And just to make sure that the rojak is even more unique and special, we throw in more uniquely singapore flavours such as "kiasu-ism", "kiasi-ism" etc etc. Now you get the idea how potentially "nuclear" this combination is? Wait! there's more, who preparing this rojak? A match-maker that is a commercial unit who's sole purpose is seeking revenue by providing a service. They do not know the customer and they do not know the girl they are marketing. To cut a long story short, they have over-simplified the equation - They do not know the product they are selling and they do not know whose buying it and for what purpose. Who cares about reputation now? - My overheads and my gross turnover is more important. After-sales service?? You must be joking!! - That's the attitude of matchmakers now! Match-making is no longer what they used to be as can be seen in the brief discussion above. In fact it had gone backwards in term of its objectives. When it used to be about finding partners that match each other and is about reconciling the differences, now its about getting it over and done with, with little regards for the compatibility and the hosts of differences that exists. Its now like buying fish in the market - you look at the eyes, the brightness of the scales, you poke poke to test the tenderness of the meat and you see if its bloated. Finally if you like what u see, you negotiate a price and the fish-monger cuts it up for u and tells u "Virgin", puts it into a plastic bag and you carried it home to cook and taste it! To be continued......
