* I am not malaysian, but singaporean
* I didn't mention anything about sbf to the folks in Le Ciel at all. Sigh, I wish I know how to speak Thai but the exchanges i had there were rather short and direct to just selecting the gal and talking about the damage. Anyway, the recep was quite embarrassed when i told her i can't speak Thai. thanks for your concern, bro. it was really hell of a place in u-tapao. the check-in terminal was filled with pple all trying to swarm in for their boarding pass. Every now and then, u can hear screaming from some ladies, being sandwiched or pushed about. Totally crap place to use as temporary airport. No security (at least don't see them anywhere at the check-in areas), just a 2-woman operated info counter, 2 tiny screens showing the departure flights info (but not updated), it's totally chaotic. Luckily, SQ set up their counter outside this terminal. So, there was no jostling about. But, the queuing took something like 2hrs for the boarding pass, because everyhing is manual. Well, anyway, it's over. Wouldn't like to experience that kind of flight again. Just too troublesome, and taking the whole day just to get back to home. I think bros still there should seriously consider using Phuket AP to get home instead. It may be longer trip but at least u don't have to worry about the lack of security, the long waiting in U-tapao... Just what i thought.
