Hello...bro. Is it possible to get the bus ticket to go dannok from KL on the same day? I may want to go tomoro if i could finish up all my stuff .... but, i haven bought the ticket. Thanks for help ....

Yes...you can get a ticket on the same day but on weekdays not much of a problem but Friday and Saturday morning very good chance.....! On Friday and Saturday evening slim chance....one person...maybe!

There are Konsortium. Sri Maju, Burung, Indah and a few more...!

If you can get a ticket to Danok then the moment you reach Danok get the return ticket to play safe.....!

On the topic of taking bus back, can any bros here advise whats the timing for the buses back to sg? Are they the same on weekdays n weekends?

If I did not forget..it shall be at 12.30pm maalysia ime to sg.

Some of the weekdays they do not have bus to sg...you just need to take the bus to kl and then buy bus ticket to sg again.....

Reached Danok from Hat Yai on a Konsortium Bas on the 28th August. Got off the bus at the Thai immigration and walked looking for rooms. Oscar Hotel upped the rates to RM90 these few days until after Malaysia Merdeka Day ( 31st August ). What a turn off for me !.
Many incomings from Malaysia, men with bags walking in, cars with Malaysian number plates from Kedah, Penang, Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and even from Johor in this town. Luckily i found a room in Hollywood Palace Hotel which also upped the rates by RM20 but still much cheaper than in Oscar Hotel.
Walked and explored some roads with numerous OKTs offering their services. I refused their offers.Finally i located Winner's Cafe, Hello Bangkok and Model Club. But all were closed in the early afternoon. I went to the more newer area with Tanjung and Mutiara 2 spas, the New Satit Hotel, He Jian Hotel and went into the latter. Noticed there is the " PRC " karaoke on a sidewing of the hotel, a barber, ancient massage and Mei Spa on the second floor.
Mei Spa has the following: RM 29.90 for use of the spa except the massage.
RM 59.90 for spa facilities and a massage. I took the second alternative.
It was a real bad choice.
The sauna room, rather old. The steam room got no steam at all.It was unheated. The okay size jacuzzi was warm enough but without any forceful water gushing out. The water was too not too clean. The food consisted of a plate of white bread, some jellies for the bread, 3 containers with 1 filled with tomato sardines, 1 with some sauce but without any meat/veggies/etc and the last one was empty !!!. There were no coffee on the "banquet table".

Massage room was okay with an attached toilet. ML was good in the oil massage. Massage ladies......Thais....and Burmese puyings. I rather spent my money in Mutiara Spa near the old Satit Hotel.
At around 6pm, i walked towards Winner's Cafe. Couple of customers inside. The waitress took my order of Heineken ( RM14 per bottle ). The puyings came to " shake hands ". I kept my hands to myself and they went off. Quite a number of girls in bikinis here with 3 on the stage. Later, mamasan told them to take off the top. Later, they took off everthing. But always, it was only 3 puyings on the stage. You can soop buri here, unliked where you only smoke ciggies outside the bars in Bangkok.1 beer, 2 then 3 then 9 beers consumed in this bar with me getting a bit maung and with 5 friendly puyings next to me. Luckily, only 3 of them drank. The other 2 drank lady drinks at RM7 each.Dumped 5 X RM10 garland of flowers at 2 girls that were on stage and that were with me. It seemed that the puyings were overjoyed at getting these garlands of plastic flowers !!!. It was fun with these rather crazy girls !!!.
Ice was getting low ( the waitress gave us a glass with ice for the beers ) and then ,she gave me a bucket that costed RM13. I asked her sip sam for the ice and told her to take the ice back. Oh yes !. Maung ?. Yes but with my brain functioning correctly. The waitress came back with an FOC glass of ice. Yes, you can book the girls here just as in Nana Plaza or in Soi Cowboy.
You can have a happy time upstairs. They have rooms above the stage for ST. Or you can pay RM250 LT without a barfine and take out time was 9pm.Thai time. The girl i took out got the 2 biggest and nice solid knockers on her.
Down the road, around a corner was a hawker displaying his food for sale.Fish balls, cuttle fish, tofu, shrimps, meat balls, cockles,etc on satay stickers where you dip these on a boiling bowl of soap and take out to consume. We sat and ate these and enjoyed the atmosphere. Behind us was Model Club, another big bar.
We walked into Hello Bangkok and it was filled with people. Now, i know why Hat Yai lacks beautiful puyings. They are all here , in Daniok!. The girls on stage were slim, pretty, girls to dream off by men. The stage show was great.
Beer.......got to order in pairs. Food........fruits, mixed nuts, and something fried were passed around by the waitress but you have to pay to get these.

Both baht and rm is acceptable in danok. Some places may want extra charges if pay in rm, like 7 11 and hotel.

i was in dannok too on friday. Reach there around 5pm thai time. Stay in new satit and the price was rm100 for one night. At night time, went to Hello Bangkok. I muz say the dancers do looks hot !! Spend RM95 on 5 big bottle of Heiniken + tit bits. Then move on to Paragon and order 10 small bottle of Heiniken and cost me around RM195.

No....for 10 bottles of beers in Paragon, its should cost you around RM90-RM95, cannot be RM195.
I just back yesterday, every hotel is up rm20-rm30 due to the 3 days holidays. Luckily my regular puying did not up her room rate.
