That did not end when i hv retrieved from approaching the gal!

instead one hr later, a guy from that group started to dance very very close to our viet gal friends (two gals), but this time the guy did not stared at me, he stared at our viet gals instead.

Luckily we hv a viet male friend around, he approached that guy, ended up they knew each other. That guy told my viet male friend that his group of viet gals do not like our viet gal friends. anyway nothing serious happened since that guy knew my viet male friend.

Next time i will give HCM disco a miss.

Bro, i did notice that the vist guys really got guts to approach any gals on the dance floor this way. I rememeber that i 1st time go vn, go to gossip disco, see alot viet guys dance close to gals they wanna hook.. seems easy for them.

If u give disco a miss.... there will be no more fun for u bro.. don't give up.

Bro, u r rite, even the waiters working there also ask our viet gals (Which i know them at new century in SG) 4 telephone numbers, infront of our eyes. Better don't bring ur real gf to disco, or else jealousy arouse, or unless u don't mind.

The viet guys at disco i noticed r quite rowdy. I will definitely give HCM disco a miss becos i don't like to dance at all.

Waiter/Bouncer sometimes double up as OKT.. in MGM the Bouncer keep asking me want any gal.. he can intro. (But i am with my bx)

Once went to America Disco at An Dong (Ceased Ops) with my bx and her friend. They dance at dancefloor... knn got bunch of guys approach. Lucky my bx good gal... she siam them and come back to me,

Don't dance also can go disco.. that is to place to look at beautiful people and hook/get hook.

IMHO as a foreigner in HCM, if u r not too ugly and no gal companion, it is not difficult to hook a viet gal. the best thing is u may endup hooking other man's babe! , and RIP in HCM.

Two taxis monopolize HCMC airport, rip passengers off



Only some select taxis are allowed to pick up – and fleece – customers at Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport, while others have to operate on the periphery.
For many years Airport and Sasco taxis belonging to the Saigon Airport Shareholding Company – half owned by the Southern Airport Authority, a state agency monitoring air traffic in southern Vietnam – have had the privilege.
Taxis belonging to other firms have to be content with waiting far away from the exit door. It they wander into the ‘forbidden’ zone, they are immediately chased away by Sasco and Airport drivers.
A Vinasun taxi official said: “This situation has lasted for a long time. We have to accept it though we know it is a monopoly.”
This monopoly allows the two companies to rip off passengers. Huy, a customer, told Thanh Nien he picked up a Sasco taxi at the airport Sunday to go to Cong Quynh street in district 1 only to be told the fare was VND150,000 (US$9.3).
When he asked why the fare was not metered, the driver retorted rudely, “You accept that fare or find another cab.”
Since most of the taxis there belonged to the same company, Huy had to lug his luggage along a long way before finding a SaigonSun taxi which cost only VND70,000 based on the meter.
Foreigners too are cheated, as Thanh Nien found out. Even if the taxis agree to turn on the meter, they demand thousands of dongs as tips saying, “I had to wait a whole day for you.”
The HCMC Taxi Association brands the practice illegal monopoly.
The city Department of Traffic and Public Works said since the airport was a public place all taxis had the right to operate there.
Though the Southern Airport Authority recently opened the doors to all taxis, the latter complain they still have to pick up fares at allotted places which are sometimes hundreds of meters away from the exit.
Even then it was not easy, and they had to “beg” and accept some “rules”, taxi company officials said.
Airport, a member of the taxi association, did not attend meetings these days because drew flak for their monopoly at every gathering, an association employee said.
Nguyen Van Danh, director of the Saigon Airport Shareholding Company, said any driver found demanding tips or not turning on the meter would be fired.
Such acts had been cut by 80-90 percent, he claimed.
Many of the taxis were equipped with a device that automatically switched on the meter, he added.
He said the taxi parking slots in the airport were allotted by the Southern Airport Authority.
