The Universiade ( University Olympiad ) due to start August 12 in SZ and as usual yanda will precede the event and continue thru out until August 23 when it closed. The recent turmoil in 增城 by 民工 not helping the situation.

You're right ... quite of unfortunate but my group already plan another CA excursion end Jul/early Aug. So, hope that yanda not too uptight.

By the way, heard from my SN gal in CA in my previous trip that Humen is nearby and very happening, is it plausible to do a day trip including KTV, since we intend to book rooms in CA?

Been to Humen and dun think it's that happening. It's not that far between CA and Humen and shouldn't be more than 40 minutes by car.

Well, me too hoping nothing serious as we will be in CA also around that time.
